At the Evans' house, Destiny wonders why Nora hasn't replied to her texts. Mrs. Evans says grace, which includes a special prayer for Matthew. They have dessert. Destiny wants to be close to Matthew and leaves to catch the train to Philly. Talk turns to Tina and Cord's spontaneous wedding. Mrs. Evans rants about how people don't take the time to get to know each other before marriage. She suggests, since Shaun and Vivian have been together so long, they should get engaged. After Vivian explains her stance on marriage, Mrs. Evans takes offense and asks, "He isn't good enough to marry?" Shaun puts his two cents in, as Vivian shares her parents' toxic marriage with the Evans. Mr. Evans can see Vivian's point and orders his wife to back off. Both couples begin arguing and only stop when Mrs. Evans smashes a pie in her husband's face. Shaun cracks up, especially when Mr. Evans misses his wife and hits Vivian with a pie! They all have a good laugh and share apologies. All Mrs. Evans cares about is that Vivian makes Shaun happy. Vivian's never felt more embraced by a family. Mr. Evans ends dessert by hitting his mark, a pie in his wife's face. They all laugh.
In the special care facility, Bo calls for help while Nora begs Matthew to stay with them. They watch as a doctor successfully restarts Matthew's heart. "Matthew's back," the doctor reports. Matthew whispers Bo and Nora's names and opens his eyes. Nora's so happy to see Matthew's eyes. Bo privately asks the doctor how long his condition will last. Will they lose Matthew again? The doctor suggests they take things one step at a time then questions Matthew, who passes with flying colors. The doctor leaves to order tests. Bo admits Matthew was unconscious for six months. Nora promises they're not going to give up on him. Destiny appears and drops a pie when she sees Matthew's eyes open. They huddle around Matthew. It's the best Thanksgiving ever. Destiny cries happy tears. She becomes hot and goes to take off her coat. Nora tries to stop her, but Matthew notices her baby belly and asks, "Are you pregnant?"
In the living room at Llanfair, John wants to talk to Natalie about where they go from here. Tea calls. He ignores the call. Natalie suggests they simply raise Liam without any drama. John has something to add but takes a call from Blair. Tomas is missing. After John hangs up, Natalie insists John go take care of Blair. John promises to be back soon and says, "Just take care of our son." In the kitchen, Todd thinks about his last encounter with Tomas and throws a plate. Viki appears, hands Todd a dustpan and asks, "What's wrong?" Todd blames his mood on Tomas. Blair chose Tomas. As Viki is comforting Todd, Natalie appears. John had to leave because Tomas is missing. Todd isn't surprised, considering the line of work Tomas was in. Todd makes a quick exit. Viki assures Natalie Todd's mood has nothing to do with her. He loves Blair but feels as though he's missed his chance because Blair's with Tomas. Natalie finds it coincidental that Tomas is suddenly missing. Viki wonders if she thinks Todd had something to do with Tomas' disappearance.
At the mansion, Blair tries calming Tea down. She knows Tomas will come home. Tea accuses Blair of being just as worried about Tomas as she is. John arrives. Though it's too soon to file an official missing person's report, he thinks back to a conversation with Bo, over Todd. Blair wonders if John knows who could be responsible for Tomas being missing. John suggests they do this by the book and leaves with Tea to search Tomas' room. Blair begs John to find him. Later, Blair thinks back to making love with Tomas and whispers, "Please come back to me." Todd appears. He heard Tomas is missing and wanted to be there for Blair. When she fears the worst, Todd holds Blair close.
While having a cop search Tomas' room at the Manning Estate, John suggests he look behind the dresser drawers. The cop finds an envelope, containing a 9mm. The same gun used to kill Victor.
