Welcome to Amy's "One Life in a Week" for June 25 and 27:

The show stepped it up this week and brought in new mysterious characters and embarked on a controversial storyline that had me hooked from the get go. Let's break it down…

Hot for teacher.
It's not what most would necessarily relate to as 'love in the afternoon' for their favorite soap operas, but older women preying on younger boys, and vice versa, is a very real issue. Whether or not Jack's teacher really knew who he was or is as shocked as Jack, the writers have really hit the mark in deciding to tell the story of Jack and his older summer school teacher. Talk about a PSA! He's a healthy teenage boy, she's what one would call a hot teacher, and the combination of these two hitting the sheets opens doors for many reactions. The one that will probably be the most explosive, should it come out, will be Mama Bear Blair's. She's going to flip her lid! It might be grasping at straws, but could Kate be working for whoever is after Todd's family? If she is she has a sure foot in with controlling Jack. Sure, he heard Blair's 'stranger danger' warning but what teenage boy with raging hormones would stop to think a sexy, older woman would be taking anything more from him than sex? We see this in the news all of the time, and while sometimes the guilty party goes to jail, other times they don't. Let's hope the writers do this storyline justice and not carry it out as simply 'forbidden love'.

Jeffrey strikes again.
Every reporter knows you have to take the bull by the horns in order to uncover a story, and Jeffrey did just that by luring Michelle back into Matthew's orbit. Not only because Jeffrey wants to know her story, Matthew has a right to, and viewers want to know as well. We only got a glimpse of her so far, so it's too soon to tell if she's simply a girl who has the hots for Matthew or someone with stalker tendencies.

Victor outwits, outplays, outlasts.
Tea made a big mistake in trusting Todd and Blair with Victor's suspected whereabouts. Todd finding Robert dead, and unsure of who killed him, left Todd continuing on this game of cat and mouse. If we could have two soap characters put on an island, "Survivor" style, Todd and Victor would be my pick for contestants on opposing teams. Of course, we'd need Tea involved as well to keep the drama in the forefront with her high-pitched screams and constant physical attacks.

Ponzi scheme?
As soon as Viki voiced her fears that she'd been involved in a pozi scheme it rang true. Sure, Clint may have gotten her money back, but there's no way that this is the end of this storyline. It would be far too easy. And with Dorian involved up to her neck, she'll make damn sure Viki doesn't get out of this unscathed. My guess is Clint put his own money in Viki's account to momentarily subside her fears.

A murder investigation.
It was hard to read whether or not Arturo Bandini was sincerely upset over Brianna's death, due to their romantic connection, or if he was irked that someone screwed up and killed her instead of Dani. Again, we have no idea who is after Todd's family, which seems to make us question every underhanded deed in Llanview. Could Arturo be the man behind the strange happenings? He wasn't the older man who initially gave Brianna the drugs, but could be. Or he may be connected to the supplier of them. He also might be out to get Cutter, since he owes money to a big art dealer, and Arturo's wealthy family is connected to the art scene. This we know from the casting announcement weeks ago. Who do you think Arturo is? Vote from the options in the poll and leave me a comment with your theories as well.
