Michael O'Hare passes away at 60.
Former "One Life To Live" actor Michael O'Hare, who played George Vasquez in 1988, passed away at the age of 60 last Friday September 28 following a heart attack. He's best known for his role as Jeffrey Sinclair on "Babylon 5." Series creator J. Michael Straczynski posted the sad news on Facebook stating, "I regret that I must convey the sad news that Michael O'Hare passed away today. He suffered a heart attack on Sunday and was in a coma until his passing this afternoon. This is a terrible loss for all 'B5' fans and everyone involved with the show wishes to convey their condolences to the O'Hare family. He was an amazing man." Soaps.com also sends O'Hare's family and friends our deepest condolences.
Kassie DePaiva back to General Hospital:

Amanda Setton's The Mindy Project premiere:
As reported earlier this year, Amanda Setton (ex-Kimberly Andrews aka Aubrey Wentworth) will be taking part in the new FOX series "The Mindy Project." Tune in Tuesday October 2 at 9:30 PM to watch Setton's first appearance as Shauna Dicanio.
Sherri Saum in The Fosters:
Wife to fellow "One Life To Live" alum Kamar de los Reyes (ex-Antonio Vega), Sherri Saum (ex-Keri Reynolds) will star in the new ABC Family pilot "The Fosters." Saum will play a lesbian, alongside Teri Polo ("Loving"), who are a mixed-race couple not only raising a biological son but a few adopted children as well. However, one child with a violent past and unruly ways may cost the couple everything they love.
Dan Gauthier and John Brotherton in Help For The Holidays:
Set your DVRs for Sunday December 9 at 8:00 PM when former "One Life To Live" actors Dan Gauthier (ex-Kevin Buchanan) and John Brotherton (ex-Jared Banks) take part in the Hallmark Channel Original movie "Help For The Holidays." One of Santa's elves begins to wonder if there's more to life than making toys in the North Pole. When a wish comes from a little boy, Santa sends Christine to LA to give one special family a holiday wake-up call. Former "All My Children" actress Eva La Rue (ex-Maria Santos Grey) and Summer Glau ("Grey's Anatomy") also star.
Doc Dougherty's Home Invasion:
The actor who played Jackie McNaughton, aka Llanview's go-to gangster, will be heading back to the stage for a one-man show in New York City, New York. "Home Invasion: The Whole Truth And Nothing But The Truth" tells the tale of a woman held against her will by a group of thugs demanding $8.5 million dollars in ransom. To play off his real-life roles... It's a bartender with a criminal past, which includes appearing as a suspect on "Law and Order," playing a fake FBI agent in an Indie film and a gangster in Daytime TV, who finds himself under investigation. One Life To Live actors to attend SoapFest:
There's a weekend long event set to take place in November and a few former Llanview actors will be there! Get the details and who all from Daytime is attending through Annual SoapFest Charity Weekend.
Former Llanview actors join The Grove:
Robert S. Woods (ex-Bo Buchanan) and Jessica Lecci (ex-Ines Salinger) have joined Crystal Chappell's (ex-Maggie Carpenter; "Venice: The Series," "DOOL," "B&B") upcoming new webseries, which revolves around the differences and similarities of the Moynahan and Kincaid families. Look for Woods to play Doyle Moynahan, while Lecci appears as Ivy Moynahan in "The Grove."
Kearran Giovanni's Major Crimes pick-up:
Fans who have been enjoying Kearran Giovanni (ex-Dr. Vivian Wright) in her "Major Crimes" role as Detective Amy Sykes are in luck… TNT has just picked up its hit series for a second season to air next summer 2013. Of the news, Giovanni posted on her Facebook, "Woohoo! We for picked up! Looks like I'm raising some LA babies!"
Robert Leeshock in Scavenger Killers:
Former Llanview actor Robert Leeshock, who played crazed mad man Bruce Bartlett, is currently filming a new project. "Scavenger Killers" is described as a serial killer/crime thriller with a horror edge that has no limitations. Look for Leeshock to appear as Phil Chaney. No release date is available at this time.
Mellini Kantayya's Actor. Writer. Whatever:
Mellini Kantayya, who played a Llanview Hospital nurse on and off from 2005 through 2011 will be taking part in a reading on Tuesday October 2 at 61 Local at 61 Bergen St, Cobble Hill in Brooklyn, New York. As part of the Folding Chair reading series, beginning at 7:30 PM, the actress will read an excerpt from her book "Actor. Writer. Whatever." Kantayya's book contains essays on her "rise to the top of the bottom of the entertainment industry" and will be released by Ako Dako Press in early 2013. Though this is a free event, there will be food and drinks available for purchase.
Tuc Watkins' Where The Bears Are:
In case you missed Tuc Watkins' (ex-David Vickers) recent appearance on "Where The Bears Are" we have the video for you! The comedy mystery web series focuses on three gay bear roommates who are on the hunt to find out what really happened to the party guest who was found dead in their bathroom. This is Watkins' second appearance as Dickie Calloway.
Josh Casaubon's It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia air date:
Last Soaps.com talked to Josh Casaubon (ex-Hugh Hughes) he confirmed his upcoming Primetime appearance to be in "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia's" episode 806. We can now let viewers know that Casaubon's appearance will air on Thursday November 1. Please check your local listings for a time in your area.
Casper Van Dien in Baby's First Christmas:
He played Ty Moody from 1993 to 1994, and now actor Casper Van Dien ("Starship Troopers") will be turning up in a holiday made for television movie on the Hallmark Channel. Mark your calendars for Saturday December 15 at 8:00 PM and be sure to watch "Baby's First Christmas" as Van Dien's character Kyle and Jenna (Rachel Wilson) have to learn to get along before the birth of their mutual nephew. Let's just say their snowy adventure just might prove that miracles really do happen.
This year in Llanview history:
Back in 1993 Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) threatened Marty Saybrooke (Susan Haskell) in a darkened alley outside of Rodi's. He warned her to stop crying rape and against getting back on the stand in an attempt to send him to jail. When Marty refused to back down, Todd began shoving her around until Luna Moody (Susan Batten) appeared. It was a pipe to the face, courtesy of Luna, that left Todd with the signature scar on the right side of his face.
