The art of storytelling.

Two of Daytime's legendary storylines were created by former "One Life To Live" Head Writer Michael Malone. One being the gang rape that surrounded Llanview's Marty Saybrooke (Susan Haskell) and the first Daytime teenage gay storyline focusing on Billy Douglas (Ryan Phillippe).

As part of Duke University's "Office Hours" program, on Thursday April 26 Michael will appear at the university, where he currently teaches a course titled "American Dreams, American Movies," at 12:00 PM to discuss the art of storytelling. If you can't be in attendance, visit Duke's Ustream channel to tune in for the webcast.

Michael worked on "One Life To Live" from 2002 to 2004, as well as on "Another World" in 1997. He also penned three best-selling fiction novels titled "Handling Sin" (1983), "Foolscap" (1991), and "First Lady" (2001).
