Former "One Life To Live" actor Jason-Shane Scott (ex-Will Rappaport) will be appearing in a sequel to the 1959 film "The Killer Shrews." Fans of the horror flick will remember how a group of people, stranded on an island, were terrorized by giant voracious shrews during a hurricane.
Now in "Return Of The Killer Shrews," where Jason-Shane will play Sam, James Best's character Thorne Sherman, from the original film, will return to the island with a reality television crew. As predictable as these films are, expect the killer shrews to strike again! The film also stars John Schneider ("Dukes Of Hazzard") as Johnny Reno. Keep an eye out for its 2012 release.
Jason-Shane appeared in Llanview on and off from 1998 through 2007 and has turned up in numerous films since, including "Deadland," "Stem Cell," and "Nightfall." In fact, fans may recognize him from the new Lifetime original movie, Walking The Halls, that premiered on January 7 and starred former "All My Children" actress Jamie Luner (ex-Liza).
