Current and Past Occupation
Past: Loan Shark
A businessman of sorts, Vincent Jones appeared on the scene in April 2006 when Natalie Buchanan took off to Atlantic City seeking out Vincent's father 'Vincent' who was said to have information about the death of Thomas McBain. Although not wanting to get involved with the dealings of a murdered cop, Vincent granted Natalie his help and set her up with a meeting with one of the witnesses to the crime.
Not being able to help himself, Vincent later left Atlantic City and moved to Llanview in search of more 'opportunities' with the hopes of playing the 'you owe me' card with Natalie. When she proved to be someone who didn't take well to Vincent's bullying, he respected Natalie's style enough to move on to new unsuspecting 'prospects' in Llanview.
While in town, Vincent ran into his old college dorm mate Hugh Hughes and was both happy and leery of his status as acting District Attorney. Seeing a way to make a fast buck, Vincent became the manager to boxer Cristian Vega, and ruined his career and reputation after fixing for Cris to lose a fight. He later confessed and really had the desire to change his life around. However, it would come at a price when he lost the love and respect of girlfriend Layla Williamson. Vincent then decided to go to Hugh's bedside, who was recovering from sever burns after being in a massive car accident, and confess all of his sins. Little did Vincent know that it wasn't Hugh in that bed after all, but John McBain! Once again, he did the right thing and told Natalie about the case of mistaken identity.
While appearing to be on the right path, it is safe to say that Vincent Jones isn't a man to be second-guessed or taken for a fool!
