The writing for the whole show lacks details and consideration for the characters, their families and their personal lives.

Neil saw first hand what the secret did to Lane; yet, he asked Cane to keep his secret. It seems to me that they would want the twins to grow up in a 2 parent household.
The show lacks cohesion. Nothing really flows smoothly like it did before. The one thing I dislike about GH is all the disjointed families. Almost every woman who has more than one child has multiple baby daddies. Y&R has always been much simpler to follow than all of these crazy step children, baby mamas & baby daddies. Since the P&P show started, we've been getting the same effect. LANE's children are the only ones who have not yet been embroiled in this kind of ridiculous family drama & I'm hoping we can keep it that way. I agree! Little consideration is given to Maddie and Charlie and I wish that would change. The writing has to support them as a family unit. Focusing all the Winters & Ashby drama on Hilary is just not "cutting the mustard" for me. I don't like the character & she is not that important! Shes done her damage; now she needs to move on. I want Cane Ashby to head his own family.
