Quote Tara: I admit Sharon is no angel. She lost Nick by choice. But watching Nick and Phyllis (the sleeze) play house has been agrivating. The way they (mostly Phyllis) have been flaunting their affair and acting like the happy little family is unforgiveable. Phyllis set her sights on Nick and used sex to lure him from his family and now thinks she should be able to hold her head up and be accepted into the fold as a respected woman. I guess I'd like to see Sharon knock her down a few notches. I hate to see the homewrecker get her way so easily. Noah should not accept Phyllis and Nick should have to split his time between Phyllis and his son- see how understanding that selfish wench could pretend to be then! The real Phyllis can only stay hidden for so long before she shows her fangs!
A man or women can only be tempeted if they aren't being taken care of at home. Nick and Sharon's problems were already there and like so many other couples they tend to talk to outside people re: there problems instead of each other. So when Sharon talked to Brad and he was so caring and understanding it was easy for he to fall in love and start to lust after Brad... He was given her the attention she was starting to crave from her husband. When Nick started hanging with Phyllis she was given him the escape of not dealing with reality... They were playing video games just doing free will things. Nick was carring a lot of blame on hisself and even thought Sharon didn't come out and tell him that she blamed him he felt it. So it was so easy for him to have an attraction to Phyllis.
As they say the grass always looks greener on the other side.
REASON being... IS you have no ties to that person. You don't have bills to pay, you don't have kids to take care of, you don't have a house to take care of... You don't have to see the other person if you don't want to... You have no commitment to that person... So it is free... So chances are there are no problems to deal with... " SO THE GRASS IS GREENER FOR THAT MOMENT."
