Quote roseofsharon1942: Some things on the show go on and on like the secret but I guess there is a means to the end. Some things go to quickly like this doctor so quick to use the electric juice. Hopefully something will happen to stop these unnecessary treatments. They may cause more harm than good. If this Cassie just disappears all of sudden and isn't on the show anymore without be found out, I don't know how I will feel about the writers.

Please remember the doctor does not know what we do. She only knows that Sharon has been on various meds and she is still seeing Cassie. Now she is feeling Cassie. I know it is easier to blame the doctor for Sharon's state but she only knows what Sharon tells her. If Sharon would only open up and tell the doctor what started all this the doctor would be more able to help. Why, why, why would any woman do this to keep a man? As she admitted nothing would be worse than losing Nick. That is pretty sad.

Excellint points!

Quote calliope: I despise Victor but he has nothing to do with her original lie and sightings of Cassie. He is heightening it but this starts with Sharon. She is bottling all this up to keep Nick. Now she has convinced herself she is crazier than she is. Choosing ECT so she can hang on to Nick is just stupid.

Icam. Victor is a turd on most days, however, Sharon was seeing "cassie" even after she sttarted taking her meds again, and it was the real Cassie because she called her out on blowing it and not being truthful with Nick, something the fake Cassie didn't know until recently. Victor is just enhancing what's been going on with Sharon, which is not necessarily a good thing, but Sharon believes that telling the truth could make this go away. Unfortunately for her, she also thinks it would make Nick go away, and because she believes she is somehow relevant if she is with a Newman, she believes that ECT will be better than facing what she did. Victor's tampering imho is only a little bit of the story imho, and his meddling is so that he will be the scapegoat and a way out if the truth about Sharon ever comes out because truth be told, Sharon was seeing Cassie before Victor's meddling and even after her "new meds"...

Quote calliope: This is true but I doubt most of us would submit to ECT to avoid telling something.

Imho no man is worth it, least of all Nick!

Quote GCresident: What a shame!
Sharon has lost her mind, because of Victor. I can't wait for Nick to find out about the Cassie imposter.. That's an all time low for Victor in my books!

Can't wait till Nick comes to the rescue like he did 20 years ago with Matt, and Shick started a family...This psychiatrist is suspect. She is like a broken record like Cassie Twin... 'Tell me the secret. Tell me the secret!' only this silly redhead ( could be Phyllis in disguise) LOL, says Tell me or I'll zap you...LOL
Did anyone see the movie 'One Flew Over The Coocoo's Nest?' (sp)...with Jack Nicholson. He turned into a walking zombie... anyone who hates Sharon Newman wants that to happen soooo bad... LOL
Wish they would lock up Victor and his evil cohorts.

ECT is nowhere like that movie. Not anymore.
Of course the doctor wants her to tell, she knows it's the key to what is happening to Sharon. Can't treat what you aren't told.

I wonder if anyone misses Dr. Watkins? Lol
I guess the sessions in the coff shop and trying to get her to take her meds seem not-so-bad now compared to ECT...lol
I do think you're right; the doctor wants her to tell so that she can try and treat her and so that Sharon can feel better because Sharon said that withholding the truth is making her miserable. If Sharon is not being honest with her doctor, then what is the doctor to do? Plus the doctor did try to get her to consider all the options and reccomended that she tell the truth and tried to disuade her by telling her that ECT is painful, to which Sharon replied that nothing is as painful as losing Nick...

He didn't even comfort her when she told him Faith was stillborn - "our little girl didn't make it Nick" - not even a pat on the head! Sure, she is the love of his life,, lol.
