Quote PurrrrrrrKitty: Would anyone like to share their Christmas Plans??

I will go first.

Since3 I lost my beloved husband of 40 years 5 months ago,
I will spend it with my son and his family in Calif.. who lives clear across the country from me. I do not have family here, only in Calif. I will spend 2 weeks with them.

I decorated outside and inside.. so I would not be so sad.. and my husband loved, loved that I decorated.., so I did it
for both of us.

My grandaughters are grown and a teen.... so Santa no longer comes. MY teen wants money ONLY..lol.. so that is
easy to pack.

While there, I will look around and decide if I want to live there later.

Merry Christmas....Happy Holidays to everyone!!!

P.S. My DVR is set to record Y*R as it has been for years.. so I will catch up when I return. My family does not watch soaps.. they think they are beyond stupid.. lol

I am sorry for your loss. I am glad you will be spending time with family. My extended family comes a little early, so Christmas day is just my husband and our 2 daughters. One is 5 so Santa still comes ;)

Merry Christmas PurrKitty, I hope you have fun and relaxing Holiday with your family.

Hubby and I will be spending Christmas by ourselves. We had fun decorating the tree and putting lights up outside. He was kind of cute on the roof and it made my puppies crazy seeing papa way up there.
Later we went out, he was messing with me and asked me to pick out my present, then he asked when we get home, will you wrap it for me! Stinker!

after my parents both pasted we changed our traditions. My husband isn't warm and fuzzy with his family so my brother comes over and we have tacos and Margaritas for Christmas dinner. This year we didn't do the usual 15 foot tree so our old cat wouldn't pee on it! Instead we decorated a Norfolk Island pine that had a mean lean to it to look like our version of Charlie Brown's tree. Our presents are donations to the 2 no-kill animal shelters that we support with our annual benefit. That is the best thing about our holiday...helping homeless animals be warm and fed.

This Christmas, I am spending Christmas Eve with my brother and his family and my parents and sisters are coming over on Christmas day. I plan on eating lots and having lots of drinks! All the best to you and I am only a click away...

Thanks trin for reponding and sharing..

Surely, we are not the ONLY two to have plans.. lol.

Not asking for your address.. .lol..

I knew you weren't; it was my way of lending an ear if you need one...

I am glad you found something that has helped you. They sound like a good group of people.

My 5 year olds birthday is only 2 weeks after Christmas so we are always busy with that. I put my decos up around Thanksgiving so I am usually ready for them to be put away.
