Thank you for remembering the brave men and women who fought for our freedom.
I was born in England just at the end of the 2nd world war,(now living in Canada) my Father wasn't able to join the forces but was in the home guard., there were many stories told of the bravery and heroic deeds to save families whose home were bombed., so thank you to the vets of the world for our freedom.

Thanks for these wonderful words of praise for our active, retired and deceased veterans. My grandfather, uncle, cousin, husband and brother-in-law and father-in-law were all veterans. We are a family of Air Force, Navy, Army and Marines. We are so appreciative and thankful for our great men and women who are sacrificing so much to serve our great country.

Love and prayers to all!

Great thread!

My father served in WWll as a tail gunner on a bomber. My uncles also served as pilots and sailors. they are all gone now but I will remember them and their great sacrifices. Also my mother and aunts who loved these men and sacrificed right along with them.

Many blessings and a safe journey to all of those still serving.

Just been reading and re-reading all the posts on this thread. All posts including one from a vet's spouse. We are thankful for all those who have served, but we should never forget the families that love and support those who have served, or are serving...all the mothers, aunts, wives...

Thank you Gracewashere for starting this thread.
Grandpa was a Korean Vet, Dad and Uncle Vietnam Vets and my brother is in the Navy. All were in the Navy. It's a family tradition it seems. Bless all our Veterans.

Cheers to that! My Pap in Germany, my uncle in Korea, and my brother in Iraq. Plus all the men and women where I work at the VFW.
