Quote JRTA: Hmmm... could be that viewers aren't interested in all the newbies being shoved down our throats. Same can be said by some (not me) about the vets. (Best show in a while was Fri Cdn.... featuring a veteran cast, with supporting newbies... JMO.)
It could be that most posters have become tired and bored with the same repetitive threads. I know I find it annoying that the same posters start simular threads over and over... especially when the topic is already being discussed in existing threads. Then there is the whole "SPOILER" thing... I'm sure that drives some away. (FYI, doesn't hurt to re-read the rules at the top of the forums re: spoilers & duplicate threads).
BUT it probably has something to do with the fact that it's the WEEKEND, (long wknd in Canada) most of us are having some beautiful spring/summer like weather and we are getting outside and enjoying it.
I've spent the last two days in the garden. Now I will be spending time on my deck with my feet up, a cold drink in hand and something to numb the pain!
It's no wonder with the truly silly, never ending threads about Summer's paternity. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would never have believed it. It was as if the fate of the universe rested on the paternity of an 18 year old soap character. lol
It isn't about Summer, as much as it is about a storyline that was left with big gaping holes, about the two core families. Anvils fell, red herrings surfaced, many years have passed, and we're anxiously awaiting the answer to the question: Who is the real father of Phyllis' baby?
It's like a puzzle where people have taken sides.
Personally, I think Nick's swimmers would never make a baby with anyone but sweet Sharon. :)
