Nope, he hasn't stopped loving sharon, and I could tell even while he was having the affair with phyllis. Thats what made it so compelling to me, b/c as much as I enjoyed phyllis and nick in the beginning, I knew that he still loved sharon on a deep level that was powerful and that phyllis alone never had the power to destroy. Sharon maintained her spot as nick's wife the entire run of nick's relationship, and by the end it was clear to me that although nick fell in love with phyllis, the love never grew -- it never got deeper or more profound. The love lessened with time, whereas with sharon it sustained and continued to build. The story is still with nick and sharon, its why they are still so intertwined in each others lives. I think there is more to tell with them, and I miss the days where couples told stories together as opposed to against each other.
