No matter your age,the passing of your Mother is traumatic,I liken it to the cutting of the umbilical cord it is final.

Thank you Habby. You are right. No matter how old you are you are never willing to lose your mother. In addition, I am so used to telling people "no, I'm sorry I can't" that I can't quite wrap my mind around the fact that now I can go places & do things. I need to build a whole new life for myself that does not revolve around caring for an elderly person. Right now, I am still missing her terribly. My daughter invited me to join her & my little grandson at an Indian Heritage Festival at the History Museum Saturday. There will be Indians representing the various tribes and wearing authentic clothing. That sounds very interesting to me.
