Eric Braeden in Today's episode

Postby soapcruiser » Mon Apr 16, 2018 10:26 pm

Okay, I am not a Victor fan. But as I watched today's episode I was struck by the great acting of Eric B. He had me moved to tears. The character is always so strong and angry. Today, Mr Braeden earned his keep.
Now he needs to heal and I can begin hating Victor again.

ICAM Soapcruiser! He was mesmerizing. I felt so sorry for him and I can’t stand Victor either.

It would be so nice if this would result in a kinder, gentler Victor from now on.

You are so right, I almost started a thread about him also.

My father had a massive stroke 7 years ago, he could not speak or move. I could see his face on Victor, the tears, the frustration and helplessness.

I'm thinking Eric must have had some experience with real stroke victims.

Victor will most likley make a full recovery, unfortunately my Dad is a shell of his former self. Its heartbreaking.

Kudos to Mr. Braeden for an excellent performance.

I agree. I usually cannot find anything nice to say about Victor, but this show today did really showcase EB's acting skills. I almost felt sorry for Victor and that just doesn't happen.

Today reminded my that he's actually a great actor when he tries. That was the best scene I've seen in ages.

I have always thought Eric Braeden was a good actor but he outdid himself in that scene he made me feel sorry for Victor first time in years.

EB always softens me towards Victor. Whether it is a tender scene with kids and grandchildren. Sometimes it kind gesture towards his lady. I remember the scene Victor met his father. Tears came to my eyes. This is my kind of character . That can be a villain and sweetheart when the role calls for it. Kudos to EB.
