ATWT cancelation!

Postby luvmyfunnyface » Tue Dec 08, 2009 1:29 pm

OMG! Just heard the news, it will cease all operations in June 2010 making the last on air date in Sept. 2010. They are currently looking for a new home for the soap.

i think unfortunatley most if not all our soaps will be following the same path. %( You would think though that if they looked @ the soap sites they would realize the viewers are still there.

This is very sad news but maybe it will at least wake up some of the shows that are having bad writing (I'm looking at you GH)

I agree, soaps are kinda a thing of the past. However, I'm going to enjoy Days as long as it's on the air. :)

I know how horrible i felt when they cancelled Another World. I still think about all the characters and stories that once was there. Its very sad and i hope those who watch ATWT will find another soap that is still on the air to help them move on.

I just watched a clip on days confidential with the cbs ceo doing a interview,he said daytime soap opera's are not what they use to be, that they had their run and some other upsetting stuff. To a point I agree they are not the same today like they were back in the day but to just give up all hope is disheartning! :(
