Dems will wish they had supported Ryan’s plan because, as the fate or Obamacare gets nearer, the replacement plan will be more conservative.
Rand Paul hit the ball out of the park by passing out books to the Freedom Caucus, "The Art of The Deal" and he quoted the page where Trump explained that the best deal is not always the first deal.
Trump's play was right out of the book and very few were paying attention.
Paul Ryan is a weak ineffective leader and always has been. He has yet to deliver any significant legislation in his career. Trump understands that heavy lifting will be needed in the near future. The only power Ryan has is with the establishment guys and gals and with no one else. No one can blame Trump for the failure and the fault will lay at Ryan’s feet. It may well cost him the speakership. Ryan is neutered and Trump will get a heavy lifer as speaker or Ryan will just follow along. The conservatives won the battle and will help Trump as planned. The other faction will want help from Trump and in the end Democrats will come on board with Trump's plan. A true replacement would never have passed both chambers with the likes of McCain and his girlfriend from South Carolina. The plan was to cause the establishment to lose power and he succeeded.
I like Rand’s plan much better. American families deserve the right to team up and shop around for better insurance rates. How is it that my cat can get and incision and drainage procedure for an abscess with medications for less than $200 and it would cost me significantly more than that for the same procedure? Rand is one of the people that Trump needs to listen to…He is a doctor and knows first hand what Obamacare has screwed up!
Had Hillary won the election- we would not only have Obamacare kept afloat with taxpayer dollars and we would have the fine quality of care of Socialized Medicine.
