    Soaps.com is sad to report that on July 17, 2008 soap opera veteran and Daytime Emmy Award winner Larry Haines has passed away. At almost 90 years old, Larry has left behind some of the most memorable characters and scenes in daytime today. He spent thirty-five years on Search For Tomorrow from 1951 to 1986 as Stu Bergman.
