All Soap Operas pre-empted September 3rd!

    Tuesday, August 28 2007

Repeat of Valentine episode of OLTL! (ABC)
Oh no!! Guess what? All nine of our beloved soap operas will be interrupted Monday, September 3rd, which is Labor Day.

Not to worry. Just like every year, the regular programming of our 'stories' will resume on Tuesday, September 4th! We've got a little sneak peek into what you can look forward to in place of your show(s).

ABC is planning to offer fans encore episodes of some of your favorite shows. All My Children will present a repeat of the episode of Kendall's surgery, while you'll get to once again view the infamous Valentine episode on One Life to Live. General Hospital lovers will also get to see a repeat of the metro court explosion!

CBS is also pre-empting their daytime line-up, not only Monday, September 3rd, but they'll also be pre-empted Friday, September 7th for the U.S. Tennis Open. This means that if you're a tennis fan, you won't be watching As the World Turns , The Bold and the Beautiful, Guiding Light or The Young and the Restless - you'll either be watching tennis, or heading outside for a barbecue!

Metro Court Explosion repeat on GH!
NBC's Days Of Our Lives and Passions will both be pre-empted for PGA Golf, September 3rd..

If you weren't invited to a beach bash or back yard barbecue, feel free to hang out with your friends and dish about the soaps in any of our Message boards!

Have a safe and happy long weekend!

Oh man. I kind of look forward to the Labor Day repeats, but I video taped the entire Hostage Crisis of GH, and OLTL's Valentine's Day show, so there won't be any fun there. Guess I gotta wait til Thanksgiving for different repeats.
