My reason for wanting soapnet was not part of your choices. When the networks break in with breaking news, or weather reports, or Presidential press conferences during my soaps is when I turn to Soapnet.
Toddlers don;t need yet another reason to be couch potatoes!!!

    Ihate this decision!

I work all day, and my children turn my recordings off every time, so they can watch tv. The only show I ever watch anymore is GH on Soapnet. This really sucks. Ya, I can watch online...but I want to scream when it lags.

What preschooler is up 24 hours a day? Don't they have enough channels to keep them entertained. Mamas need their entertainment too. With the regular channels, the soaps are always the show that gets interrupted. So it is just easier to sit down at 8 after all the house work is done, everyone is fed, and just watch 4 hours straight of soaps. This really stinks.

dumb dumb mega corporation Disney. Thanks to Soapnet I am not only able to catch up on missed soaps because of my crazy schedule but I was able to discover such gems as Gilmore Girls. Does Disney really need another outlet for their shows?

There is not an ABC station where I live, so SOAPNET is my only option for watching GH on TV. This really makes me mad.

Couldn't they at the very least air soaps at night when preschoolers should be in bed? If they have to add another childrens station, just air kids shows during the day.

Isn't there enough preschool shows on TV ?I always watch soapnet ,to see what I missed on daytime tv..And if my local tv station and interrupt it with a news specialreport.I can watch it on Soapnet later that evening. Please don't tell me rent a DVR from my cable company..I have to pay enough for cable tv now With out adding more to my cable bill. And I can't afford to buy one. Also it's not the same reading it on here as watching it on tv.I say kids have enough tv programs on tv now.Why can't they just add another new channel???This realy sucks big time.BOOOO HISSSS HISSSS.

So what knit-wit thought of this?
How many channels do preschoolers need?
I mean really! When did the tv comfort of a four year old come before my own. I use SoapNet as a backup plan for when my soaps are cut off for the Political ramblings or high speed chases (i live in cali). So this is utter nonsense. Why can't they leave our soaps alone. Obviously we all still watch them, shabby as most of them are. This really bites.
How many more Disney channel are needed. How much tv does the average four year old watch? Kids watch WAY too much tv already! They don't need another channel. What SoapNet needs to do is go back to the original format: Classic Soaps. Dynasty, Knot's Landing, Loving etc. I enjoyed watching those old soaps and watching some missed repeats of my daily soaps. Take off the stupid shows such as Watching Erica or Venice and silly stuff like that and get back to the soaps. That nonsense messed up SoapNet.
    I don't like this news.
    This is really stupid.

This really stinks. I love my soapnet. I don't have DVR and this is my only way to catch up on my soaps every night; it's way for me to wind down after a long day. Please don't take soapnet.
