The All My Children crew will be moving from their New York City studios to the ABC studios in Los Angeles, while One Life to Live will move from their studios at 56 West 66th Street to the former All My Children studios at 77 West 66th Street in New York City, New York.
Not only will both shows have facility upgrades and streamlined production models, All My Children will now have a larger studio, containing two stages, which will make the transition from standard-definition to high-definition TV a smooth one. Since the All My Children's current New York studio is larger than One Life to Live's current one, they too will benefit from the decision.
The move to Los Angeles is set to take place in December, where the All My Children crews will begin taping new episodes during the week of January 4, 2010 - and the One Life to Live group will follow suit.
Soaps.com wishes all the actors and crews a smooth transition into their new studio homes.
