    Retro TV To Air The Doctors.

    Starting today, fans can watch episodes of "The Doctors" in the evening as well, as the network will also air past episodes weeknights at 9:00 PM.

    The soap will begin airing twice a day with back to back episodes beginning at 12:00 PM on Monday September 29.

    Retro TV shared this video preview for their upcoming re-airing of the daytime soap. Stay tuned for the premiere date.

    Reruns will begin with episodes from the 1967 season, the first of which were produced in color. Though no premiere date has been released, as of now there are plans to air back to back episodes in the afternoon Monday through Friday. Stay tuned for more details as they come.

    "The Doctors," an NBC soap opera that aired from April 1, 1963 to December 31, 1982, will return to television on Retro TV later this year. Luken Communications' Vice President of Production Matthew Golden stated, "'The Doctors' is one of the greatest examples of the soap opera format in its prime, loved by critics and audiences alike. We're thrilled to return this classic series to the air, and bring its exciting, engaging storylines back to our audience's daily lives."

    Yippee! I can't wait! I barely remember watching this soap with my aunt when I was a child. Hopefully they will make this a trend with Another World, and possibly, Dark Shadows.

    I can honestly say I never heard of that soap, but I"ll tune in anyway. I wish they would show more soaps, Ryan's Hope, As The World Turns and so many other.

    I watched "The Doctors" years ago. It was an excellent soap. I'll be watching it again. I hope RETRO adds "As The World Turns", "Another World", "The Edge of Night", "Love of Life" and "Capitol" to the lineup. Since SoapNet went off the air, fans lack an outlet for cancelled soaps. RETRO TV could fill that void.

    It's like going back in time...can hardly wait...most of the characters are gone now, but so what! We can still enjoy those old times....

    I loved this show, but it seems my area doesn't carry "Retro TV"..hope they get on the stick and make it available to everyone...I would love to see Dr. Kildare and Ben Casey back on as well....

    When I the Doctors was on television David O'Brien actually let me and a friend watch the show being filmed from the control room. It was something I will never forget!!!
