    This year's 2014 Writers Guild Of America Awards will be handed out on Saturday February 1 at the JW Marriott at 900 West Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. The awards honor outstanding achievement in television, news, radio, promotional writing, and graphic animation and are based on 2013's work.

    The Daytime Serial nominees are:

    "Days Of Our Lives'" NBC writers Lorraine Broderick, David Cherrill, Carolyn Culliton, Richard Culliton, Rick Draughon, Christopher Dunn, Janet Iacobuzio, David A. Levinson, Ryan Quan, Dave Ryan, Melissa Salmons and Christopher J. Whitesell.

    "General Hospital" ABC writers Michelle Altman, Ron Carlivati, Anna Theresa Cascio, Suzanne Flynn, Kate Hall, Elizabeth Korte, Daniel James O'Connor, Jean Passanante, Elizabeth Page, Katherine Schock, Scott Sickles and Chris Van Etten.

    "The Young And The Restless" CBS writers Shelly Altman, Tracey Thomson, Amanda Beall, Jeff Beldner, Brent Boyd, Susan Dansby, Janice Ferri Esser, Jay Gibson, Beth Milstein, Lisa Seidman, Natalie Minardi Slater, Anne Schoettle, Linda Schreiber and Teresa Zimmerman. will update readers with the winners in 2014 and wish all of the nominees the best of luck!

    Glad that B&B was not nominated.those writers need to go back to school to improve the writing skills. Same storyline different people.

    Y&R is getting boring. They need to get rid of a few people in the show. Kyle,Noah,Fen to name a few. Why did they make Dylan Nickii's son so that like B&B brothers fighting for the same woman.Are the borrowing ideas from other shows. DAYS is getting better keep it up

    Tha bold n tha beautiful.story lines it sucks.over n over.hope is a dumb female.her stories lines sucks.she is so much like her is scary lookin n so is his mom.n ridge n Katie should not be together.that's tha same stuff tha brook did.come on writers.let's get it together.enough wit tha same old tired stories lines over n over.that y all tha other soaps or cancel.

    Surprised DAYS writing team won the award. They do not possess strong writing skills. They re-hash old storylines, and now the current story line between EJ and Abigail, is completely over the top.
