Canadian crooner, Michael Buble, and his model wife, Luisana Lopilato, welcomed their first child into the world on Tuesday August 27. The happy couple named their newborn son 'Noah'.
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom split amid drug rumors.
Things appear to have gone downhill for NBA star, Lamar Odom, as TMZ has reported that he's not only split from wife Khloe Kardashian, but is allegedly struggling with an addiction to hard drugs. According to "ESPN," Odom had been at a Los Angeles area hotel, where friends were trying to convince him to get help. They say the free agent still harbors hope of signing with an NBA team and continuing his career.
Miley Cyrus' VMA performance causes uproar.
Miley Cyrus ("Hanna Montana") created a media storm with a raunchy performance at the VMA awards show on Sunday August 25. While Cyrus is pleased with the publicity, celebrities and, well, everyone, seem to be weighing in on the controversy. Find out more by watching the video clip below:
Paris Jackson doing better.
Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine, told Hello! Magazine that Jackson's daughter, Paris, age 15, is getting the help she needs and is in a good place. Jackson was admitted to a residential treatment facility following a suicide attempt in June.
Justin Bieber dates former girlfriend.
While ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, partied with bestie, Taylor Swift, at the VMA awards, Justin Bieber headed out on the town with the girl he dated prior to meeting Gomez. Bieber and Jacques Piles reportedly hung out and had dinner together, with the Biebs commenting afterward on Twitter:

Kate Gosselin suing Jon Gosselin.
The former "Jon & Kate Plus 8" couple, now divorced, are headed for a clash in court as Kate has slapped Jon with a lawsuit related to a book written by his friend Robert Hoffman, entitled, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World. The book has been pulled from shelves in light of the lawsuit, in which Gosselin alleges that her ex-husband illegally obtained information contained in the tell-all by stealing her hard drive and hacking into her phone and computer.
Alec Baldwin welcomes a new daughter.
Alec Baldwin ("30 Rock") and his wife, Hilaria, welcomed their new bundle of joy, Carmen Gabriela Baldwin, into the world on Friday August 23. Baby Carmen has an older half-sister, Ireland, whose mother is actress Kim Basinger ("Batman," "L.A. Confidential"). Hilaria Baldwin took to Twitter to announce the new arrival:
Paula Deen lawsuit dismissed.
The lawsuit that effectively brought down Paula Deen's ("Paula Deen's Best Dishes") business empire, has been dismissed. Just days after a judge threw out charges of racial discrimination, the court also nixed charges of sexual harassment that were still pending. People reports that a court document showed a settlement was reached between the parties with no award of costs or fees involved. The employee who initiated the lawsuit, Lisa Jackson, also released a statement absolving Deen of personal responsibility for any of the complaints.
People is reporting that although there is yet to be a legal separation, Michael Douglas ("You, Me, And Dupree," "Wall Street") and wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones ("Rock Of Ages," "Legend Of Zorro") are taking a break from their stressed union after 13 years together. The pair has two children, Dylan, age 13, and Carys, age 10.
Lindsay Lohan being considered for new HBO series.
On the heels of her revealing interview with Oprah, Lindsay Lohan ("Herbie Fully Loaded") has reportedly received an offer to star in a new series. TMZ reported that comedian Danny McBride was so impressed with her when she taped a cameo for his "Eastbound & Down" series, that he wants her to star in a new comedy series he's developing for HBO. TMZ noted that HBO has not agreed to anything at this point, but that Lohan is excited about the prospect of a regular gig.
Rapper Fat Joe turns himself in.
Fat Joe, aka, Joey Cartagena, turned himself in to a federal detention center in Miami on Monday August 26 to serve time for tax evasion. TMZ reports that he will do four months in prison and pay a $15,000 fine for failing to pay taxes in 2007 and 2008.
Eric Christian Olsen welcomes son.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" star, Eric Christian Olsen, and his wife, Sarah Wright ("Parks and Recreation"), welcomed a newborn son, Wyatt Oliver Olsen, into the world on Friday August 16 at 7:45 PM, according to People. The baby boy, their first child, weighed a healthy 9 lbs, 8 oz.
Linda Ronstadt has Parkinson's disease.
Linda Ronstadt revealed in an interview on the AARP website, that she has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and can no longer sing a note as a result. Ronstadt won 11 Grammy awards over her long and successful career as a singer.
Eva Longoria and Ernesto Arguello split.
People is confirming that Eva Longoria ("Desperate Housewives," "The Young and the Restless") has reportedly split up with Ernesto Arguello ("Ready For Love") due to conflicting schedules. The news comes just weeks after the duo was rumored to be headed to the altar.
