    After The Soap Finales: Where Are They Now?

    Catching up with the former Daytime actors.

    Soaps.com is happy to bring our readers details as to what some of the former actors of cancelled soaps "As The World Turns," "Guiding Light," "Passions" and "Ryan's Hope" have been up to since leaving Daytime behind. The Oakdale characters may be gone, but the actors have been busy these days, as well as others who once appeared in the fictional soap towns of Springfield, Harmony and Riverside.

    Jesse Lee Soffer lands Lifetime movie lead:
    Jesse Lee Soffer, who played "As The World Turns'" Will Munson from 2004 to 2010, has landed the lead role in Lifetime's upcoming movie "Dirty Little Secret: The Jodi Arias Story." The movie is based off of the much publicized Jodi Arias trial, the woman convicted of killing her boyfriend Travis Alexander, which will be played by Soffer. Tania Raymonde ("Lost") will play Jodi Arias. Tune in for its premiere on Saturday June 22 at 8:00 PM.

    Billy Magnussen's Tony Award nomination:
    Colleen Zenk (ex-Barbara Ryan, "ATWT") sent her former Daytime co-star Billy Magnussen (ex-Casey Hughes) her congrats for his Tony Award nomination for best actor in a featured role for his work on "Vanya And Sonia And Masha And Spike." The awards ceremony will air live on CBS on Sunday June 9 at 8:00 PM.




    Magnussen will also be appearing in the new series "Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell." Look for him to play Spencer as the story follows Gary (Henry Zebrowski) and his misadventures on the quest to do Satan's work. And if that isn't enough, Magnussen stays extra busy doing live performances with his band Reserved For Rondee.

    Colleen Zenk in Don't Know Jack:
    Colleen Zenk (ex-Barbara Ryan, "ATWT") is doing a new Hulu sitcom called "Don't Know Jack." The series stars Richard Kline ("Three's Company's" Larry Dallas) and will premiere this fall.

    Marnie Schulenburg in The Golden Scallop:
    "As The World Turns'" alum Marnie Schulenburg, who played Alison Stewart from 2007 to 2010, is appearing as Lindsay O'Hara in "The Golden Scallop." The story surrounds an annual fried fish competition that will place a food truck, a former champion and a novelty fish house against each other on the quest to win the Golden Scallop Championship.

    Zach Roerig stays human on The Vampire Diaries:
    If you haven't been watching the CW's hit series The Vampire Diaries and are a fan of Zach Roerig (ex-Casey Hughes, "ATWT," 2005 to 2007) you're missing him playing one of the last humans, Matt Donovan, in Mystic Falls.

    Daniel Hugh Kelly in Devil May Call:
    Daniel Hugh Kelly, the "ATWT's" alum who played Colonel Winston Mayer from 2007 to 2009, has wrapped up his role as Tony in "Devil May Call." The plot surrounds Samantha, who plans to leave her job at a crisis hotline, and upsets one of her regular callers, a sadistic killer, by doing so.

    Jon Lindstrom in How We Got Away With It:
    Jon Lindstrom, known for his "ATWT's" role as Craig Montgomery from 2008 to 2010, appears as Becker in "How We Got Away With It." Find out what happens when an unexpected tragedy takes place at an annual all-weekend summer party and how a group of friends react violently to the turn of events.

    Sam Stone in It's Dark Here:
    Young actor Sam Stone (ex-Daniel Hughes, "ATWT," 2007 to 2008) will be playing Shay in the film "It's Dark Here." The drama focuses on a college student and musician who experiences a schizophrenic break.

    Dylan Bruce in Orphan Black:
    Dylan Bruce, who played "ATWT's" Chris Hughes from 2007 to 2008, is appearing as Paul in the BBC series "Orphan Black," which premiered on March 30. Bruce's character is described as a decent, attractive guy who falls into bed with Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) before she takes on Beth's identity. Though she's deceiving Paul, she takes solace in him - a man who is more complicated than he appears. Tune in Saturdays at 9:00 PM.



    Kimberly J. Brown in Low Winter Sun:
    Kimberly J. Brown ("Guiding Light's" ex-Marah Lewis, 1993 to 2006) will turn up in the new AMC drama "Low Winter Sun" as Sheena Bailey. The series premieres this summer and surrounds murder, deception, revenge and corruption that results from the murder of a cop by one of their own. Soaps.com would like to send the actress our congratulations on her recent marriage as well!

    Robert Bogue in Capture hearts:
    Robert Bogue, who played "GL's" A.C. Mallet from 2005 to 2009, is currently filming "Capture Hearts." He'll play Gary Granite in what's promised to be an insane horror flick filled with mystery, violence, sex and gore.

    Nicole Forester in The Yank:
    Fans remember "GL's" Nicole Forester as Cassie Winslow and will soon get to see her play Colleen in "The Yank." Set to be released sometime in 2013 the film follows an Irish American man who sets out on his dream and in the process takes his friends on an unexpected journey.

    Adrian Bellani in Crosstown:
    Adrian Bellani, who played "Passions'" Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald from 2006 to 2007, has completed filming "Crosstown." He'll play Rigo in the film that takes place during Bush's War on Terror and Barack Obama's rise to presidency and follows a teenage boy who fights to fit into an increasingly violent world.

    Eva Tamargo Lemus in The Haves And The Have Nots:
    Eva Tamargo Lemus ("Passions," Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald) will join former "OLTL" actress Tika Sumpter (ex-Layla Williamson) in Tyler Perry's new series "The Haves And The Have Nots" as Celine Gonzales. The series premiered on the OWN network on Tuesday May 28 at 9:00 PM.

    Brandi Lynn Burkhardt in Hart Of Dixie:
    If you were a fan of "Passions'" resident mermaid Siren and don't already tune in to the poplar CW series "Hart Of Dixie" you might want to start. The actress has played the role of Crickett since 2011. The series was recently renewed and will return Mondays this fall for season three.

    Juliet Mills in Lucky Stiff:
    "Passions" was consumed by the supernatural and Juliet Mills' character witch Tabitha Lenox, was often the first to know about it. The actress is currently filming "Lucky Stiff," where she'll play Miss Thorsby, which follows the travels of a bachelor on a quest to claim an inheritance from his late rich uncle.

    Brook Kerr in This Magic Moment:
    Are you a fan of the actress who played "Passions'" Whitney Russell and wondering where you can catch her on television? Brook Kerr will be appearing as Gina Verano in the made for TV Hallmark movie "This Magic Moment" on August 17. Find out more and which other Daytime stars are involved in This Magic Moment.

    Kate Mulgrew shoots special stand alone episode of NTSF:SD:SUV:
    Kate Mulgrew, who played Mary Ryan on "Ryan's Hope" from 1975 to 1989, traveled with the cast of Adult Swim's "NTSF:SD:SUV" to shoot a special stand alone episode in various locations in London. Such places included Shad Thames, Parliament Square, the top floor of The Tate Modern, and a 600-year-old manor house, Chenies. For more on the series visit NTSF:SD:SUV.
