A fruitful baby season, Kris Jenner's hot seat gets hotter, Elisha Cuthbert is TV's most beautiful and Lady Gaga cancels her tour...the celebrities sure have been busy!
A Baldwin baby on the way!
Congratulations to actor Alec Baldwin ("30 Rock") and his yoga-instructor wife, Hilaria Thomas. What germinated as a seedling of a rumor a few weeks ago is now true – Thomas is expecting the couple's first baby together later this summer. This will be the second child for Baldwin, who already has a teenage daughter, Ireland from his previous relationship with actress Kim Basinger ("Black November," "8 Mile"). According to Us Weekly, Baldwin and Thomas, who were married last June, are said to have reacted to the news with "excitement" and awed "surprise." "There's a scream I heard, which is a scream normally reserved if there's a spider in the house," said Baldwin, reportedly. Thomas added that Baldwin hurriedly ran up the stairs to find her holding a positive pregnancy test.
Another elated couple sharing and celebrating their baby news is actress Penélope Cruz ("To Rome with Love") and her husband Javier Bardem ("Skyfall"). The couple is expecting their second child together later this year. And finally, actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler ("Guys With Kids," "Sopranos") and her fiancé of one month Cutter Dykstra are also expecting their first child together. Sigler was said to be shocked at the news.
Elisha Cuthbert is TV's Most Beautiful Woman.
Actress Elisha Cuthbert ("Happy Endings," "24") graces the cover of Maxim magazine's March issue after having been named the most beautiful woman on TV. The issue, which will be on newsstands February 19 features Cuthbert in a blue, belted halter swimsuit striking a very sexy old Hollywood pose. This will be the actress's fourth time on the cover. Check out Elisha's Maxim cover.
Hilarious and funny Grammy gaffes?
So how did the stars observe their pledge of obedience to the Grammy Awards dress code memo? From Jennifer Lopez's ("Parker") taut and toned visible right thigh in a semi draped and fitted black dress to rapper Drake's caught-on-camera reaction when she walked onto the stage, to Katy Perry's breastapalooza in a skin tight cleavage-framing mint green dress just gliding on the red carpet, to seven-time Grammy winner Adele – who took the memo a bit too seriously, wearing a floral wallpaper creation with matching shoes – to rapper Wiz Khalifa's bared and tattooed chest in a blazer, it seemed that both the women and the men flirted with non-compliance. Adele recently denied reports that she chewed out Chris Brown's decision to remain seated as fellow singer Frank Ocean received a standing ovation for his Grammy win for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Ocean and Brown were involved in a parking lot altercation as we reported in a past Celebrity News. Adele was also the target of a notorious prankster named Vitalii Sediuk who not only stole Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine's ("The Voice") seat, but also tried to accept her award for Best Pop Solo Performance. Jennifer Lopez tried her best to block Sediuk, and if looks could kill, Sediuk would be fried, but he spent the night in jail instead.
Drinking, tweeting, still blundering Brandi?
So, after several weeks of salacious and self-gratifying promotional therapy for her new book Drinking & Tweeting: and Other Brandi Blunders, scorned ex-wife Brandi Glanville ("Real Housewives of Beverly Hills") is ready to bury the vitriol aimed at her nemesis, country pop singer LeAnn Rimes and hold hands in Kumbaya? That's crazy talk! But apparently true. In a recent interview with "Access Hollywood" followed by an appearance on "The Today Show," Glanville expressed her wishes for world peace with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian (ex-Matt Clark, "Y&R," "CSI: Miami") and Rimes saying, "I don't want anything bad to happen to him because he's the father of my children. I want him to work and flourish and I want him to stay with LeAnn forever," she said. "I don't want my kids to go through another divorce or breakup and I want to make sure she's stable and happy."
Lady Gaga cancels Monster Ball tour.
A distraught Lady Gaga (aka Stefani Germanotta) has poured her broken heart out on her website and Twitter to share her regret over having to postpone her Monster Ball tour. According to her website, Lady Gaga is suffering from synovitis or a severe inflammation of the joints and has been ordered by a doctor to rest. The condition has left the singer devastated as she has had to cancel her remaining concert dates due to chronic pain and now an upcoming surgery. This is only the latest setback to hit the singer as she currently battles her former assistant and BFF Jennifer O'Neill in court. As we reported in last week's Celebrity News, O'Neill accused Lady Gaga of overworking and underpaying her. In her deposition, O'Neill alleges that Lady Gaga was obsessively needy, a personal time hog and is suing the singer for $380,000 in overtime.
There's an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Ball. Im so sorry. I barely know what to say.— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) February 12, 2013

Chris Daughtry's post-Idol body.
Rocker Chris Daughtry ("American Idol," Season 5), lead singer for the band Daughtry, is proudly showing off his much leaner and chiseled physique on Twitter and sending effusive thanks to his 90 Day Challenge trainer Jen Hendershott. Back in 2010, Daughtry embarked on a weightloss and body transformation that, three years later paid off in the form of six-pack abs and beefy biceps. Daughtry has chronicled his fitness journey in five episodes you can watch online at Chris Daughtry Challenge.

It's documentary time for Beyoncé and Ke$ha!
Beyoncé and Ke$ha couldn't be more different as musical artists but both singers are peddling their respective documentaries to audiences eager to get that backstage pass into their private lives. Beyoncé, who recently won her 17th Grammy award for Love On Top, which took Best Traditional R&B Performance, made a glittering appearance earlier this week wearing a silky sheer Elie Saab gown at the red carpet premiere of her HBO documentary "Life Is But A Dream." She also recently announced concert dates for her upcoming Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. And later this weekend, the songstress will be sitting down with media maven Oprah Winfrey for an intimate interview on "Oprah's Next Chapter."
Meanwhile, singer Ke$ha is making headlines for some rather gross revelations in her upcoming MTV reality documentary series, "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life." The flamboyant entertainer has a penchant for the bizarre (how's jewellery and a bra top combo made of fan teeth sound?) and has never shied away from openly expressing herself. This time, however, the tagline 'I drank my own urine' might not be the most crowd-pulling feature. Ke$ha detailed the incident quite graphically in a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, according to The New Zealand Herald. "I was told drinking my own pee was good, I was trying to be healthy... Somebody tried to take my pee away from me and I said, 'That is mine!' So I snatched it up and took a chug and it was really gross so I don't do it anymore," she said. "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" premieres on MTV in April.
Sizable salary for Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.
Hmmmm, let's see…what can you get for $3,000 dollars in Hollywood today? A small two-bedroom apartment, maybe a used car to take you from A to B, oh and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt to star in your movie! Brad Pitt ("World War Z") and Angelina Jolie's ("Salt") little girl is reportedly earning $3,000 a week for her role in mama's upcoming film "Maleficent," according to TMZ. Not too bad for a four-year-old's first movie role, eh? Of course, little stars have expenses too, so there's another $60 a day per diem built in to her lucrative acting contract. It appears the Jolie-Pitt siblings are determined to earn their acting chops as soon as possible – both Zahara and brother Pax were rumored to have roles in the film as well. Big sister Shiloh even made her debut in her daddy's film "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."
A trendy lifestyle talk show may be a slam dunk for Kris Jenner's ("Keeping Up with the Kardashians") aspiring Daytime television career as we reported in one of our past Celebrity News but it's a bumpy court she's playing in as she dodges the weekly gossip and innuendo that comes with being a reality show mama. Last week, rumors were rampant that Jenner and her husband Bruce were one foot in the grave as a couple – something Jenner vehemently denied on her recent appearance on "The View." This week, insiders at In Touch are reporting that Jenner was a little too Jenner-ous with her affections with her former lover Todd Waterman who allegedly told the magazine that she regularly hooked up with him even while at the start of her relationship with Bruce Jenner. Waterman is famously known as the man Jenner had an affair with while she was married to the late Robert Kardashian – he made an appearance on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" last year. Kris Jenner has yet to comment, probably because she is too busy basking in motherly pride for her two youngest daughters Kendall and Kylie who teamed up with PacSun stores to debut their new fashion clothing line for teens last week.
Kim and Kanye's special treatment?
Fresh from a romantic getaway in Rio, Brazil, Kim Kardashian ("Kourtney & Kim Take Miami") and rapper Kanye West have found themselves at the center of a Transport Security Administration (TSA) investigation over an incident that happened at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. According to TMZ, when the couple landed in JFK from Rio on their way back to Los Angeles, a 'helpful' American Airlines greeter allegedly took them past one of the security checkpoints and, away from the prying eyes of the public to shrink their connection time back to L.A. Bypassing security is a big no-no, and Kardashian and West were forced to disembark the aircraft and go through another level of security, delaying their flight by about an hour. The airline employee was said to be in violation of security protocols.
Back at home, Kimye continues to prepare for the birth of their first baby after they were spotted accepting a sizable package. A Cybex Sirona baby car seat was reportedly delivered to the couple earlier this week. The revolutionary car seat reportedly costs around $800 US and claims to be 80% safer than most other car seats as it allows the baby to stay in a rear-facing position for longer.
Meanwhile, lawyers for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are reportedly duking it out over what Kardashian's lawyer calls Humphries' lawyer's plan to destroy Kardashian's reality television career. According to a deposition obtained by TMZ, Laura Wasser, attorney for Kim Kardashian is convinced that Humphries' lawyer Lee Hutton "is using the divorce as a vehicle to "expose" secrets on the show unless he gets what he wants: money and/or an annulment."
Will Ferrell's security guard shenanigans?
Actor/comedian Will Ferrell ("Step Brothers," "Anchorman") got the crowd roaring in surprised laughter after he crashed a Los Angeles Lakers game against the Phoenix Suns this week, dressed as a Staples Center security guard. Outfitted in a red jacket and blue and red striped tie, and wearing a 'Ted Vagina' name tag, a stone-faced and heavily moustached Ferrell bee-lined it for retired NBA star Shaquille O'Neal, making him get up before walking him out of the building for an imaginary infraction. O'Neal played along and Ferrell, duty done, reportedly returned to his court-side seat a little more relaxed and enjoying a snack. Catch a clip of Ferrell's hilarious Staples Center security guard shenanigans below.
Alyson Hannigan harassed by threats.
Alyson Hannigan ("How I Met Your Mother") obtained a restraining order for herself and her family after a "mentally unstable" man reportedly posted threatening messages on her Facebook and MySpace pages and personal website. According to TMZ, Hannigan says that John Hobbs is "mentally unstable and was recently discharged from a mental hospital" and has suggestively threatened to rape and kill her. Next month a judge may decide on whether to make the restraining order permanent.
Lindsay Lohan's disappearing act?
Lindsay Lohan ("Liz & Dick") is one hard to reach client according to one of her attorneys, Julia Azrael. TMZ is reporting that Azrael finds herself unable to wave a legal magic wand to force Lohan to appear in court to face a 2010 lawsuit filed against her for allegedly driving (Lohan was a passenger) into photographer Grigor Balyan. While Balyan reportedly feels he is getting the run around, Azrael is seeking to distance herself from babysitting duty and has filed documents maintaining that she should not be held responsible for Lohan's no-show-at-court behavior. Azrael also reportedly complained that going through Lohan's other lawyer Mark Heller to get through to the actress also proved fruitless. Maybe Azrael should disguise herself as The Wanted's Max George. Late last year, Lohan practically followed the group everywhere on their concert circuit and was frequently spotted partying with George, sparking rumors of a romance. George has reportedly denied any love affair but did admit to making out with the troubled actress, saying they had a "little snog." George and his boy-band mates are currently promoting their upcoming reality show on E! Network.
Storage Wars Mark Balelo's suicide.
Earlier this week, TMZ reported that auction house owner and A&E "Storage Wars" star Mark Balelo was found dead in his car of carbon monoxide poisoning, after it had been left running in the garage of his Simi Valley, California home. His death has been ruled a suicide by the Ventura County Coroner's office. Balelo was arrested and jailed last week on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. According to TMZ, he was "distraught" over the drug possession charge and was to appear in court on February 19.
