    Daytime casting news.

January gave the soap world news of fan favorite returns, fan favorite goodbyes and a big old question mark where the "OLTL" characters on "GH" are concerned. Keep up with all the casting activity.

    The Bold And The Beautiful:

January saw a few familiar faces return to the fashion world. Joanna Johnson and Crystal Chappell reprised their roles of Karen and Danielle Spencer, while Andrew Collins popped up again as fashion reporter Jarrett. Meanwhile, former "Guiding Light" star Kara Mosley debuted as Maya, someone Dayzee (Kristolyn Lloyd) knew from Skid Row, while her ex-onscreen partner Lawrence Saint Victor stepped into a new role as well. Find out who his character is connected to in The Bold and the Beautiful Comings and Goings.

    Days Of Our Lives:
John Black is at a crossroads, so he left Salem. That means his portrayer Drake Hogestyn will be off the canvas for a bit. Meanwhile, the show has reportedly sent out a slew of casting notices including that of bad teens, a hot woman at a bar and a dangerous looking prisoner. Sounds like Salem is going to be pretty interesting coming up. There's one more key character to be cast that will be seen in May. Get the details in the Days of our Lives Comings and Goings.

    Chappell (Nikki Nelson/
    General Hospital:
News of several fan favorites returning was released, which means February Sweeps is going to be jumping. Kin Shriner (Scotty), Jack Wagner (Frisco) and Genie Francis (Laura) are all set to come home to Port Charles. While that is good news to many fans, the fate of the "One Life to Live" characters who crossed over and made Port Charles home is up in the air. Read more about the sticky situation in the General Hospital Comings and Goings.

    The Young And The Restless:

Genoa City also had a flurry of casting activity as some big names are bouncing in and out of the CBS soap. Soap alum Mark Pinter (ex-Mayor Floyd, "GH," ex-Roger, "AMC," and ex- Grant, "Another World") joined the cast last month, as did Steve Burton (ex-Jason, "GH"). Billy Miller also re-signed with the show to continue playing Billy Abbott and Marcy Rylan is set to return as Abby Newman. However there is one person on their way out. Find out who is leaving the cast in The Young and the Restless Comings and Goings.

Please don't let Steffy loose the baby on B&B and let a new man come into Steffy's life the Doc that use to be Holden would be a good choice. Mature and stable not weak Liam, he's too young, nothing like his father Bill. I like the new Taylor and the storyline between Hope and Steffy, give it a rest. Not another repeat of Brooke and Taylor. I fast forward Hope when ever she's on the screen. Her voice is like nails on a chalk board.
