Expectant fathers, a weight-loss tag team, Gangnam Style says goodbye and tragedy strikes the paparazzi in this week's Celebrity News.
Proud papa-to-be Kanye West.
Barely able to contain his joy, rapper Kanye West reportedly shouted it from the rooftops when, according to a fan Twitter post, he told the crowd at his Atlantic City concert on Sunday to "Stop the music and make some noise for my baby mama." The happy father-to-be however, wasn't about to let a little thing like his girlfriend's not-quite-yet-divorced status from NBA baller Kris Humphries slow his fertility fest down either. The multiple Grammy-winning rapper dropped the news of his girlfriend of eight months, Kim Kardashian's pregnancy like he does so many other things – with confident bravado. And the Kardashian clan responded in kind, sharing their happiness and excitement on Twitter. Fans of West, may also look forward to seeing another "K" on the Kardashian canvas, as it has been reported that, West, after months of hesitating, has finally agreed to appear on her reality TV series "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" as well as "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami."
Welcome home Livingston Alves McConaughey.
Actor Matthew McConaughey ("Magic Mike," "The Lincoln Lawyer") and his wife, model/designer Camila Alves welcomed their latest addition to the family – a son named Livingston, born three days after Christmas. This is the third child for the couple, who wed in June 2012, and is already parents to Levi, 4, and Vida, 3. McConaughey, who is currently filming "Dallas Buyers Club," reportedly confirmed the news on Twitter.
Nick Stahl caught red-handed and arrested.
From missing to rehab to missing again, actor Nick Stahl ("Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," "Sin City") reportedly turned up this time in the private booth of a Los Angeles porn shop where he was apparently "touching himself" inappropriately. According to TMZ, Stahl was discovered and promptly arrested by LAPD undercover vice officers who charged him with allegedly committing a "lewd act." The actor, whose reported erratic behavior and multiple disappearances declared by his estranged wife, Rose Stahl, back in May and June of 2012, reportedly claims the exchange was all a misunderstanding and was later released.
Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth together.
Call it rumor-no-more – they are going steady! Actor Shia LaBeouf and his 19-year-old "Nymphomaniac" co-star, Mia Goth finally went public with their alleged full-fledged romance as they were spotted cozying up together in Los Angeles last week. As we reported a few weeks ago, LaBeouf began discreetly seeing Goth after his two-year relationship with then-girlfriend stylist, Karolyn Pho reportedly fizzled several months prior, perhaps due to the rumored actual sex scenes LeBeouf signed up for in "Nymphomaniac," which is due out later this May. LaBeouf is currently starring in the prohibition-era crime/drama film Lawless.
Paparazzo-Justin Bieber tragedy.
According to TMZ, Chris Guerra, the paparazzo that was tragically killed while attempting to follow pop singer Justin Bieber's white Ferrari on Tuesday, was reportedly convinced the singer was behind the wheel and smoking marijuana while driving earlier that day. Guerra was trying to snap photos of the singer after his car, driven by one of Bieber's friends, reportedly rapper Lil' Twist, was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol for speeding. Guerra was reportedly told by CHP officers to cross the road and return to his vehicle for his own safety, and when doing so was fatally struck by an oncoming car. While the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating, a longtime friend of Guerra's reportedly told TMZ that Bieber's reckless driving and rumored pot use is a hot story and is partly to blame for Guerra's death. But in laying out blame, singer Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to admonish the paparazzi for an accident that she reportedly felt was inevitable. In a statement, Bieber is said to have expressed his condolences for Guerra's family and called on lawmakers to intervene to prevent more paparazzo/celebrity-related tragedies from happening.

Bye-Bye Gangnam Style?
No, say it ain't so! Eager to write a new smash hit, Korean pop-sensation Psy's last performance of his explosive song "Gangnam Style" may have gone out with 2012 at "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve." The singing star reportedly told MTV that he may retire the song, commenting that "Being in Times Square on New Year's Eve is already special – it's the biggest stage in the universe – plus it's my birthday, so, with all that, it may be the ending of 'Gangnam Style." With over a billion views on YouTube "Gangnam Style" has become the most watched music video on the Internet.
It was the next item on the to-do list for actress Katie Holmes ("The Kennedys," "Batman Begins"), who moved to New York with her daughter Suri, following her divorce from actor Tom Cruise – to continue acting. So when Holmes returned to Broadway with the play "Dead Accounts" showing at the Music Box Theater in Manhattan, NY last year, no one expected it to end early. But due to reportedly poor ticket sales and mixed reviews, "Dead Accounts" will grace the stage for the last time on January 6, just six weeks after opening. The play was supposed to have finished on February 24. Holmes, who recently denied rumors that she is dating actor Jake Gyllenhaal ("Brokeback Mountain"), doesn't seem to be letting this latest development bring her down, however, as the actress was spotted arriving for her first show of the New Year looking refreshed and all smiles.
Acting according to Jennifer Lawrence.
Actress Jennifer Lawrence ("Silver Lining's Playbook," "The Hunger Games") may be just 22 years old, but somehow the rising Hollywood star is determined not to let the fame monster swell up her head. According to The Huffington Post, it's all about perspective suggests Lawrence, who is featured on the cover of Vanity Fair's February issue and is quoted as saying, "Not to sound rude, but [acting] is stupid. Everybody's like, ‘How can you remain with a level head?' And I'm like, 'Why would I ever get cocky? I'm not saving anybody's life. There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I'm making movies. It's stupid." Lawrence has rapidly emerged as a performer to watch after her first Golden Globe nomination and Academy Award nomination for the 2010 film, "Winter's Bone." Named "Entertainer of the Year" by Entertainment Weekly in November 2012, Lawrence is currently filming "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" where she will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen for the second installment of the popular trilogy.
Are Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana kaput?
Rumors abound that for the second time in their relationship, actors Bradley Cooper ("Silver Linings Playbook," "The Hangover") and Zoe Saldana ("Star Trek," "Avatar") may have split up. According to the New York Post Page Six, the two were reportedly planning to spend the holidays with Cooper's family in Europe with a jaunt to Paris. The actual uncoupling is alleged to have taken place just before the holidays reportedly leaving Saldana to party solo and ring in the New Year with friends in South Beach, Miami with Cooper left filming a commercial in Prague. Catch Saldana in this clip as she reprises her role as Uhura in Star Trek: Into the Darkness.
Singer Ke$ha reportedly spares some love for the fairer sex. The flamboyant and often provocative entertainer has reportedly shed some light on her own bisexuality accorded to an interview in Seventeen magazine which features a fresh-faced Ke$ha on the January 8 cover. In it, the 25-year-old pop star is quoted as saying "I don't love just men. I love people. It's not about a gender. It's just about the spirit that exudes from that other person you're with." Ke$ha recently faced scrutiny over comments she made that she was forced to sing lyrics from her song "Die Young" after it was pulled from radio airwaves following the gun tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut. An explanation for her comments was later posted on Ke$ha's website. The singer also has a new memoir called My Crazy Beautiful Life and revealed that proving her naysayers wrong is what keeps her driving her fierce persona, hence the name of her album, Warrior.
Jennifer Hudson and Jessica Simpson team up for Weight Watchers.
They say good things come in twos – so why not successful weight loss? Singer and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson ("Dream Girls") and singer/fashion mogul Jessica Simpson have doubled their efforts to help others feel good in a new commercial to promote Weight Watchers' 360˚ system. Both Hudson and Simpson are heard remarking on their lifelong obsession with weight before crediting Weight Watchers with helping them become healthier. Hudson has been a spokesperson since 2010 and reportedly went from a size 16 to a size 6. She is slated to appear in the NBC musical "Smash" when it returns for its second season on February 5. Simpson, who recently confirmed her second pregnancy, famously lost more than 50 pounds since giving birth to daughter Maxwell last May. She will not be following the weight loss program during her pregnancy.
Hef and Harris happy together.
Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner finally got the chance to walk his fiancée – fo'real this time – down the aisle on New Year's Eve. Playboy centerfold Crystal Harris tweeted a picture of her bosom-baring pale pink wedding dress before exchanging wedding vows to become Mrs. Crystal Harris Hefner at the Playboy Mansion. The small ceremony was a far cry from the 300 guests Harris had originally walked away from when she suddenly called off her first wedding to the already twice-married Hefner in June 2011. The two reconciled almost a year later in May 2012, despite Harris's reported off-colour remarks about the 86-year-old Hefner's limited sexual prowess. Immediately following the nuptials, Hefner and his 26-year-old bride rang in the New Year together.

Bronson Pelletier leak leaked on video!
Actor Bronson Pelletier ("Twilight") can now join the club of celebrities who have learned the hard way what not to do when you're three sheets to the wind. Maybe he took the whole member-of-the-wolf pack thing too seriously, but whatever the case may be, a drunken Pelletier has reportedly been caught on video, relieving himself in a Los Angeles airport lounge in full view of passengers waiting to board their next flight, before literally being taken down by airport police. According to TMZ, the video which was uploaded to YouTube shows the actor stumbling around, seemingly corralled by an airport security guard before unzipping his pants and urinating on the floor to the astonished gasps of waiting passengers. The actor was sent to the lounge to sober up after being tossed off a flight for creating a drunken disturbance. Instead, Pelletier was later charged with one count of being drunk in public. The actor has been in the news for a string of bad behavior lately. Last month, Pelletier was arrested for methamphetamine and cocaine possession.
