The happy reunion on Coronation Street. (ITV)
Since Americans aren't the only ones with good soapy drama, Soaps.com has listened to our readers from across the pond who have requested we keep tabs on a few British and Australian soap operas. Take a look at what's going on with dramas from other parts of the world.
Terry Duckworth returns to Weatherfield this month and promptly gets into a brawl with his son. Welcome home Dad!
News of Betty's death spreads next week and in addition to revealing she was the rightful owner of The Rovers, she leaves behind another surprise. In a letter to Sean, she passes along her famous hotpot recipe. It's a lot of pressure, but is he up to the task of creating the pub's signature dish?
After fighting with her family over the salon, Audrey collapses and is rushed to the hospital. David is consumed with guilt, especially when his grandmother won't see him afterwards, but Kylie feels no remorse. Will there be trouble in paradise ahead for the marrieds?
Roxy's been trying to keep her feelings for Alfie a secret, but next week, both Christian and Derek realize the truth. When Derek starts playing games with her, Roxy fesses up to Alfie. How will he react?
As Shirley continues to investigate Heather's death, Ben hatches a plan to rid himself of the woman who poses a threat to him. Will he resort to murder again to get what he wants? With Ben you never know.
After four years of playing Aaron, Danny Miller made his "Emmerdale" exit last week. Now, he is preparing to appear in a production of "Cinderella," which will run for a month beginning December 7 at The Grand Theatre in Blackpool.
Megan comes on to Carl at Home Farm, explaining that sometimes girls just want to have fun. Declan might not share his sister's enthusiasm for the Cyndi Lauper anthem though when he finds that Carl has spent the night.
New love on Hollyoaks? (Lime Pictures)
As the British soap celebrates its 40th anniversary in October of this year, series producer Stuart Blackburn has promised two births and an unusual wedding to mark the milestone. Apparently one birth involves Debbie's baby, while the other involves a woman who doesn't know she's pregnant yet. Let the speculating begin!
An attraction forms between Tilly and newbie Jen, who turns out to be a teacher, not a fellow college student as first assumed. Upon the reveal, Tilly tries to avoid her by hiding in a closet. It's as good a place as any, but unfortunately, she gets trapped just as a fire starts. Will she make it out unscathed and what does George have to do with it?
After Maddie and Callum sleep together for the first time, he gets up and leaves. Not exactly gentlemanly behavior, but he could have a good reason for ducking out on her. We're not sure what that could be, but it is possible.
Home and Away:
Things don't look good for Romeo and Indi's marriage as she continues to want the 9 to 5 life for her man, but he knows a suit and tie aren't exactly proper surfing attire. His dress code and ocean as an office isn't the only problem though, as the marrieds each find themselves doubting the other's fidelity.
Now that Heath knows he's the father of Bianca's baby, he sets out to woo his ex back. Wonder what her husband Liam will have to say about that.
Paul tries to get Ajay on his side when he learns the politician is running for re-election. Ajay turns down his proposal, however, which might be a bad campaign strategy as he makes an enemy of Paul in the process.
When Summer starts her new job at Erinsborough News, Andrew wastes no time asking for a favor. He could have at least waited until her second day of work before imposing, but will she jeopardize her new job for her boyfriend?
Australian fans have already witnessed it, but the UK won't be treated to the soap's first male gay kiss until May. While Aidan and Chris have been dating for weeks, the two don't get intimate until they attend a party and smooch, as couples do. With that out of the way, what's next for the boys?
