    Sexy, new Primetime soap opera.

Fans of Judith Krantz's best selling series, "Scruples," are in for a treat! ABC has just ordered a pilot, which has been branded as a sexy, new Primetime soap set in the 1970s, which will air in one-hour episodes. Tony Krantz (former CAA agent), Judith's son, will serve as an executive producer on the project, along with actress Natalie Portman ("Thor," "Black Swan"), her EP television debut, and Annette Savitch. Bob Brush and Mel Harris will act as executive producers and writers.

The book "Scruples" follows the lives of three ambitious and creative people, who head down the path of fortune and romance. After the death of her senior millionaire husband, Billy Ikehorn, bored of sex with random hot tennis instructors and dallying with her art tutor, decides to open her own Beverly Hills boutique, she calls 'Scruples'. She hires sassy clothing designer, Valentine O'Neill and Valentine's pal, photographer and playboy, "Spider" Elliot who are unlucky in love. Unknown to her, Valentine's dating a gay man and Spider's model girlfriend only has eyes for herself. The duo wind up finding not just fortune but love...

Back in 1980, Lindsay Wagner ("The Bionic Woman") starred in the miniseries from Krantz’s Flame Ventures in association with Warner Bros.

How dare you,ABC?You take away our daytime soaps, and you think we want to watch this??It's another slap in the face and,as you can see, soap fans are not a forgiving bunch. This show will fail, just like The Chew,The Revolution, and Katie Couric. No ABC in my house, except for GH!!!

ABC could order a ham sandwich.... Probably be more interesting!

Of course I'm not going to watch it! It's on ABC and it's not "One Life to Live"!!!

I would rather watch a better finale of the All My Children then this. ABC is killing their fan base. If General Hospital goes than I will go too. It's bad enough that they are going to be taking away SOAPNET to make room for another Kid Channel. This Sucks!!! ABC needs to listens to us fans for a change.

I'm So disgusted with ABC! I use to watch Revenge and dropped it when ABC destroyed my AMC and OLTL. I have given up all my favorite shows on ABC and only watch GH now. I.m angry and feel victimized by what they have done to daytime television. Shame on them!

And I have no intention of watching their night time soaps, which cost alot more to produce than daytime soaps by the way!! Idiots...

Well well well so ABC is this to make up for killing AMC and OLTL because this doesn't fly with me at all.You want to make stuff right why don't they admit they were wrong for cancelling ours soap operas AMC and OLTL because honestly I want my daytime soaps opera or at least something interesting this doesn't even sound intersting at all their pushing the book pretty soon they'll have to realize their mistake.

ABC can never make up for what they have done ..soaps are afternoon TV...What genius thinks any of the faithful daytime soap viewers would be interested in this.? I think they think we are stupid.

IF ABC hadn't cancelled AMC and OLTL ... I definitely would've watched Scruples. ABC used to be my favorite network. But after how they've insulted their faithful soap fans, GH is the ONLY show I watch on ABC. And once Krappy Katie takes its place, ABC will never air in my house again.

I'm really not interested in a new prime time soap, especially one from ABC. Too little, too late.
