    23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards Daytime Nominees. (Winner Update.)

    The winners are…

    The GLAAD Daytime winner was announced last Saturday night. Soaps.com wants to send everyone at "Days Of Our Lives" our biggest congratulations for their win for Outstanding Daily Drama!

    Previously Reported on January 19:

    The 23rd Annual GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards are set to take place on March 24 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City, New York, April 21 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles and on June 2 in San Francisco, California at the Marriott Marquis. The nominees for this year's ceremonies have just been released to honor those recognized in the mainstream media for accurate, fair and inclusive representation of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

    In the category of Outstanding Daily Drama:

    "All My Children"

    "Days Of Our Lives"

    HOW?! Is it because they heard that Days was going to have a coming out story? Or because of Sonny and how he wasn't ostracized or given fanfare just that he was a regular joe?

    No, as she posted above, "to honor those recognized in the mainstream media for accurate, fair and inclusive representation of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community."

    Will's storyline started last year, and Sonny was also part of the show last year for DOOL. It has nothing to do with how the story is written, rather than that the show went ahead and included a gay or gay characters.

    Days of are lives have not won any awards in a long time i think that we need to start winning some awards.is think with daniel leaving is for the birds it was just getting to the good part were he an jen should be together
