For those of you located in the town of Vermillion, South Dakota, all you need to do is wander on over to Main Street to Ava Mogan’s! Named after her daughters, owner Peggy Higman opened her boutique with the sole purpose of being able to offer ‘big city style’ clothing for all women. Graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in fashion design, Peggy worked for an upscale Chicago fashion designer and as a soap opera costumer in the wardrobe departments of General Hospital, Passions, and The Young and the Restless. However, owning her own clothing store has always been her dream – and now it has come true!
After totally renovating the Main Street building, she filled it with many types of clothing to attract women of all ages – and it even has a kid’s corner to keep the little ones occupied while mom shops!
