    Relative Madness On SoapNet!

    Whether it’s in real-life or in the soap world, there are always family issues that make you stop and say, “What? Huh? Did you just say that?” Well, although we don’t plan on airing our own dirty laundry, SoapNet will be bringing that of the television world into our living rooms for our viewing pleasure!

    Come May 8, 2008, fans will get a glimpse into the most notorious family outbursts and scandals ever aired both on and off screen! This original series will bring us six, one-hour, episodes containing a family theme to countdown the top twenty-five hysterical television and celebrity family moments to date to include a commentary of celebrities, mixed in with those fictional characters we have all grown to love – or to love to hate! Daytime, primetime, reality and real-life moments – you name it!

    Those taking part in the trip down memory lane will include All My Children’s and Dancing With The Stars hottie Cameron Mathison (Ryan) and his fellow AMC co-star Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), General Hospital’s Sarah Brown (Claudia), One Life to Live’s John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex), Joy Behar (The View), Andrea Bowen and Joy Lauren (Desperate Housewives) , Paige Hemmis (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition), Willie Garson (Sex in the City), Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Tatyana Ali (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), Chris Judd and mother and daughter reality star team Lisa and Britney Gastineau (The Gastineau Girls).

    The episodes and themes to be included in this special will air as follows…

    May 8, 2008: “Mama Drama,” will count down some of TV’s most memorable mother moments and will feature clips to include Dina Lohan, Britney Spears, I Love New York's New York, All My Children’s Erica Kane and Days of Our Lives’ Sami Brady.

    May 15, 2008: "It's a Sibling Thing" will give us a look at some of TV’s well-known brother/sister duos to include Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Paris and Nikki Hilton, 90210's Brandon and Brenda Walsh, General Hospital’s Lucky Spencer, Lulu Spencer and Nikolas Cassadine, and The Young and the Restless’ Kevin Fisher and Michael Baldwin.

    May 22, 2008: "Brawl in the Family" will highlight TV’s funniest family feuds to feature Paul McCartney and Heather Mills, Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, Dynasty's the Carringtons, The Sopranos, All My Children’s the Chandlers and General Hospital’s the Quartermaines.

    May 29, 2008: "Crazy… in Love" will revive those celebrity and onscreen couples to include Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Sex in the City's Carrie and Mr. Big, All My Children’s Angie and Jesse Hubbard and General Hospital’s Luke and Laura Spencer.

    June 5, 2008: "Twisted Family Trees" will bring back some of the most notorious TV and real-life families such as the Karadashian-Jenners, Hugh-Hefner and The Girls Next Door, Nip Tuck's the McNamaras and Troys, Days of Our Lives’ the DiMeras and The Young and the Restless’ the Newmans.

    June 12, 2008: "Father Knows Less" will count down some of TV’s most memorable father moments and will feature clips to include Kevin Federline, Alec Baldwin, The Sopranos' Tony Soprano, General Hospital’s Dr. Noah Drake and One Life to Live’s Todd Manning.

    So mark your calendars fans, this is one special you won’t want to miss! Soaps.com can’t wait to see how daytime, primetime and real-life families rank throughout the countdown!

    Why must they mix in non-soap people like Lindsey Lohan and Paul McCartney with the soap characters we want to see?

    Er... not sure how to answer your question, Bill. I don't see an issue with it! Probably because people like celebs in general!!
