It has to be Days Of Our Lives.........Oak Alley storyline. Where Bo & Hope make love for the first time! Of course it all started before that and Bo kidnapping Hope from her wedding to Larry Welch with Howie standing in for her was a great lead in.......Bo & Hope's love story through the years!!Peter Reckell & Kristian Alfonso have the best chemistry on Soaps!

When Phil and Tara of All My Children married themselves the night before Phil was shipped off to Vietnam. It was the most romantic wedding I have ever seen on a soap. Then to have Phil listed as killed in action and Tara marrying his best friend Chuck because she was pregnant with Phil's baby.

There have been so many incredible moments in soap opera history and so many unforgetable characters. Most heartbreaking moment for me was Brooke and Tom on All My Children being told at the hospital that Laura had died. The funniest, oddest, most unlikely couple was Trevor and Janet and when they left All My Children, so did I. Most romantic couple and the one who I most wanted to see together against all odds was Jonathon and Tammy. Best disaster, the tornado on All My Children. The episode that everyone watched, (including myself and my co-workers because one of us brought a TV to work so we wouldn't miss it because no one had VCR's at the time) was Greg stopping Jennie's wedding on All My Children. These are the characters and events that I will never forget.

Without a doubt, the BJ heart storyline on General Hospital.

One of my favorite "sidebar" moments was when Jack Snyder was on his trip to sort out his feeling about having accidentally killed his brother. He wound up on a roof in downtown Philadelphia talking to an excellent Benjamin Franklin impersonator, who turned out to be guilty of either embezzling from or robbing a bank and was considering jumping. It was just wonky enough to be a nice break in the middle of all the unrelenting grief and drama.

When Cassie died, that was a real tearjerker!
Or on the total opposite spectrum of storylines; Victor and Jack from the olden days. Either the episode where Jack walks over Victor's body, or when Jack throws the chair out the window, or Victor smashing Jack's portrait!

I thought Elizabeth Webber's rape storyline was gut-wrenching. I loved how she came full circle, she was the victim, then when she had the chance to kill her rapist she didn't, she didn't let him have anymore power over her. I loved the Dominque, Scott and Lucy storyline. The BJ and Maxie storyline. These storylines to me seem more real than alot of the storylines today.

My first soap was Days of Our Lives and yes it was the Bo & Hope Love Story that still keeps me coming back today. Except today we only get to see them once a week if that. I am worried that the Good Old Story Days are over. Back then they made you laugh, cry and angry but you still kept coming back for more. Not today, I don't feel those feelings anymore, this years stories on Days are just bad. Who is writing this stuff?

The death of Zack on Days of Our Lives. Kristian Alfonso's performance was powerful- her reaction to the news that Zack passed away still makes me cry!

Mirror scene between GH's Alan and Monica. It was a slice of life where a husband comforted his wife before her cancer surgery.

Monica stared into the mirror wearing a robe. Alan comes behind her and starts to kiss her neck. She leans back and lets him support her. They kissed. Alan leads her to the bed and they start to make love.

The viewer watches the whole scene in the mirror and not a word is spoken. It's so intimate.
