There have been so many great soap moment. My all-time favorite soap moment would have to be the Jason Morgan and Elizabeth Webber Night of Passion. After years of a push and pull they finally came together on General Hospital. The scenes were incredibly well-written. Steve Burton and Becky Herbst were absolutely amazing in those scenes. It was definitely a LIASON's fan dream come true.

Guiding Light...Josh in a wheelchair, Reva Shayne in the fountain in her teddy

"I baptise thee, the SLvT OF SPRINGFIELD"

Another World when Ryan and Vicki were reunited in heaven. I was weeping by the end of it.
When Vicki realized she had to survive and go back to the real work and leave Ryan behind.
OMG tearing up just thinking about it.

General Hospital...The reuniting of Luke and Laura after she had disappeared. I can still see Luke standing on the balcony looking at the courtyard and seeing Laura. Awesome and nothing in my opinion will ever be as good as that moment.

JOSH in a wheelchair and REVA in a teddy in the fountain proclaiming herself the s..t of Springfield! Oh, the drama, the drama, the drama and THAT is what daytime soaps are all about! (wink!wink!giggle!snort!)

I loved anything Jolie, OLTL... their reunions, love scenes etc. I also loved the Jessica/Tess/Nash thing. When Jess told Nash she actually loved him, out in the rain.
But honestly, I have been talking about this for a few days now... I am not a huge GH fan, but that recent episode of theirs when Little Jake dies was one of the most incredible soap episodes I have ever seen. It was such a terrible/SAD storyline... but WOW "daytime drama" is an understatement! I have never seen an entire cast of actors come together and create such a believable moment. They gave their all in that episode and you could tell.

On the Young and the Restless a "dying" Nikki in the hospital and a formidable Victor Newman putting makeup on her so they could get married.

Reva Shane in the fountain is classic!
Also Blair and Todd's wedding with the golden balloons falling from the ceiling.. I always loved that one.
I remember on Port Charles Livvie and the crew had a cool camping trip.

Days Of Our Lives.. When John and Marlena were reunited at the pier one dark night. Marlena had been kidnapped by Stephano and held captive for a long time then she escaped and found her way back to Salem and went down to the pier only to run into John who was standing there missing her until he turned around. When he turned around and they saw each other and he cried as he touched her face just brought cheers and tears in the whole house. That is when Soaps were great.

One of the Saddest is when Chelse ran over Bo & Hope's son Zack on New Years Eve. The acting Kristin and Peter did was so awesome. And when they had to remove the life support machine, omg there wasn't a dry eye in the house for a week. This is when soaps were great and had stories and your favorite families that you followed. They made you laugh, cry and get mad. Now we barely get to see our favorite characters and there are no real stories. There are no feelings anymore. These writers have really ruined our characters let alone the show. I think the the writers are trying to make this show into what they want not what the fans want. They have almost gotten rid of all our familes and favorite actors. Constantly bring in new people and characters with no story. I hope this helps to bring our soaps back, after all they use to be fun to watch.
