I looked to see what was taking Guiding Light's place and it is none other than The Price is Right. They already have it on from 11:00 am to 12:00, so it's now on twice a day. Another WORTHLESS game show. Just what we need. I hope Guiding Light will come back in reruns or do a reunion sometime in the future.

Rick is making a toast to Phillip and Beth, if Rick was the one getting married Beth and Phillip would be making a toast to them...

I've read on other threads that WE TV is considering picking up GL. PRAY PEOPLE!!!

I was slightly disappointed with the way Jeffrey's storyline was handled, or better "not handled".
Hopefully, they were leaving loose ends that will be
picked up and carried on with another network.

I've always felt that GL started a slow death when
Danny& Michelle left, when Phillip disappeard, and
the final nail in the coffin, when Tammy died and Jonathan
took Sarah on the run. It seemed that the writers intentionally wrote this soap to death.

this is how pathetic I am. At 10am this morning I turned on Channel 2 just to see if by some miracle they were showing repeats of the GL. Instead a game show!! Ugh! CBS is never going to get a successful show in that time frame. Maybe they'll bring back the GL.

Last night I had a dream about Reva, Josh, Edmund and Cassie. And then Jeffrey came at the end. It made no sense but I think I found a plausible ending.

Jeffrey continues pursuing Edmund. He finally realizes that everyone's life in Springfield will be in danger if he returns. Also, while running around after Edmund he discovers that his real love is going after criminals and he is not a family man. He lets Reva know and she promises to send coded messages to him about their son. Then she free to go off with Josh.

I had a sign that the GL will go on somehow. My brother and sister-in-law (who never watch soaps) got a beautiful King Charles Cavelier Spaniel this weekend. They named him Cooper and they call him Coop!. I was shocked and happy. Now there's a Coop in my family.

OK don't know what I am going to do this afternoon when I get home. I usually record Guiding Light on my cable box. I have been watching this show since 1977! My exhusband watched it with me in the 80's and my son has been watching this with me since the 90's. This is going to be very very difficult. This show has been a part of my life for 32 years! I feel so lost. I had tears in my eyes on Friday. Couldn't believe though they didn't show Jeffery. Would of liked to have closure with him. I will miss you all! Best wishes to everyone!

By the way my son was named after Tony Reardon. Nola's brother. I really liked him and though he was very cute!

I remember the original Alan Spaulding and how horrible he was. But that was the Alan Spaulding everyone hated, but he made the show excitable.

I must say that I am surprised they didn't bring back Harley although I do not miss her at all. I liked the ending and it is sad that it is over BUT I will say it again. The beginning of their demise was this new way of filming. All those close ups and no sets. Too bad they didn't write these good story lines BEFORE they got cancelled!! Goodbye GL... Best of luck to all the actors..
