Goodby GL. I started watching back in the black/white times with my grandmother. She got me hooked. I was about 12 and now am a senior citizen. The cast that has come and gone over the years and the ones still with us are top notch actors and actresses. No one is better. Hate that the Reva/Jeffrey reunion will not take place (least it doesn't look like it). Jonathan you are the greatest and it feels like Reva is like a real life Mom to you. The casting of Sarah was right on. That little gal is another Jonathan. Got such a mischevious glint in her eyes. She is a doll. Sure hope no other soap picks up Ellen Wheeler as a writer. She is truly the kiss of death to a show. Once again, GL you are going to be missed but never forgotten. GOODBYE.

Oh, goodness. When I woke up this morning...I realized I had been dreaming about Guiding Light. Reva in particular...interesting. I suppose I haven't realized how deep my feelings are about the cancellation of this show. It is truely like losing family and very close friends. I've only been watching for 18 years unlike so many who have grown up watching it with their moms and grandmas. It feels like an ending to an era. Endless thanks to the wonderful actors and their incredible work. You made these special characters truely a part of our lives and we will always admire and remember you. For us, the light will never fade. God bless.

Oh, my. Here on the east coast...it's over. There it was right on the screen. THE END. I'm going to go out and work in my garden...and think about these wonderful friends. Thank you for being a part of my life. You will remain so....ALWAYS.

I just have to say, I hope cbs it self goes under. Every good show they have to take off the air. You are really sucking lately!!! To all of us, your are taking away something so special. I hope one day another station will pick GL up and along with all the other shows and put your butt out of bussiness!! Good bye to all the wonderful people on the show. Just remember your all apart of so many lives. Keep safe and hope to see you soon on another show or maybe back to GL if someone wakes up and takes over. We love and are going to miss you all.!!!

3Puppies you did a wonderful job today with your recap I thought I was going to cry to when Alex cried into Fletcher's arm. My list of hates are just a little longer:

    1. The fight between Jeffrey in the bad guy looked faked from beginning to end.

    2. The fact that Jeffrey was snipping with a handgun instead of a riffle.

    3. The fact they are not letting Jeffrey come home nor are they putting Reva and Josh together

    4. Isn't Daisy a Lewis too why wasn't see at the family gathering at Reva's or the fact that she is the first woman in her family to go to college Tammy is her cousin and Grandpa Billy or Grandma Reva could never come up with the money to send her to Berkley

    5. Why they leaving Cassie hanging all we get of her is a phone call

    Hi: 3Puppies, GLandWT, mom6, Gossipqueen75, Sunflower23, Shorty1943, and all.

Been watching this show since 1956. I will NOT be watching the stupid game show. I wish another network would have grabbed on to this great show.

Very sad day for me. I have been watching for over 30 years. Will miss everyone on GL. Thank-you for many good years.

Well folks....many of you wanted to see Reva drive off with Joshua and that happened.....so it's a wrap!
This final episode was less emotional for me than yesterday.
Half of the final moments were kind of predictable and it was great seeing some of the old characters return.
MANY THANKS TO GUIDING LIGHT STAFF AND CBS FOR MANY GLORIOUS YEARS!
