    GLandWT,

Do you know whatever happened to GuyfromSTL? Sure hope he is happy and maybe he got married and gave up soaps. HaHa. I just loved today's show. Everyone that posts on this site know I loved Alan. But, today it was Alex. I cried over Alan dying BUT I just cried my heart out for Alex. I know what it feels like to lose someone that close to you.
And, thanks for asking about my husband. It is a slow process but I am praying he will be himself soon. Thanks again.
One last silly question, did anyone notice Hildy today, is she pregnant?

An awfully sad show today, with a lot of very powerful performances by the actresses and actors. It made me want to put my arms around all of them.

HI 3 puppies, Hilda did look a little bigger in front didnt she, maybe she is pregnant. I wish they would of wrote Lizzies pregnancy in. She is pretty big right now.

Never thought I'd see myself crying at the death of Alan, but wow. The writers finally did one right. I am glad they let him go out a hero

I want Josh and Reva together and Frank and Blake too. I am sad about Alan, if the show weren't ending, it would have been boring without him.

I can't believe that they had Alan die. I have not cried so much in my life. I am glad he got to die the good Alan and everyone in town knows he did something really good. It is just too sad. Alan dying really is making it real that the show is coming to an end. I am not sure how they are going to wrap up everything in the last two days. I really enjoy the Guiding Light when I need a good cry. I find it cathartic. I really don't know where I am going to go for a good cry now. I watch As the World Turns and Young and the Restless but they have never brought out as much emotion in me as Guiding Light did. I don't remember not watching Guiding Light, perhaps that is why I feel I can identify with the characters. I am so happy I am going to get to go to So Long Springfield in Pittsburgh. I will at least be able to tell the actors there how much they and the show have been a big part of my life. I am truly going to miss it.

    3Puppies,

I do not know what happened to GuyfromSTL...I thought for sure he would respond to the cancellation of GL...

I noticed a difference in Hilda but I thought it was my T.V. I bought a new one this past weekend and everyone looks fat.

My heart went out to Alex today. I lost my only sister earlier this year...

I will keep you and your husband lifted up in prayer.

If Friday is really going to be a highlight day; then we only have one more show. Today was sad but very weird too. Who leaves out when a grandparent dies? Has anyone ever seen a transit bus park and shut off the engine at a bus stop in the Boonies and wait for that long for goodbyes?

sniff...sniff...sniff.. outstanding writing, appropriate ending. I am so glad I do not know any of the spoilers on this... each show has stayed with me this past week through the day. Dreading the end... dreading next week... savoring Thursday and Friday... miss you GL!
