OMG - I can't beleive that they killed Alan off. I thought him and Phillip would get a second chance. I am stunned.

As for Reva and Josh, well that is how it should end with the 2 of them getting back together like it always should be - Always Bud.

    Weird with Lizzie and Sarah.

After watching for over 40 years, I can't beleive how they are ending the story lines. I am very sad

I just keep crying and crying. I loved to hate Alan, and now he is gone! That must mean there is absolutely no hope for the show. When the villin is dead, so is all the stories. How sad, truly, truly sad. I kind of had a feeling that he would die, because he was finally doing good going out like a hero.

I agree 3Puppies that Lizzie this whole entire time wanted to find her daughter and couldn't live without her, I would have thought that she would have just been over the moon and crying her head off. A little weird.

I am going to be all tears Friday.

3Puppies, do you know if it will be an actual show Friday or flashbacks? I am going to miss you!

Hi: 3Puppies, Julien, mom6, vanillahere and all

Hello everyone...This episode was crazy...All the times Alan was being evil I wanted someone to kill him...I am actually sad that he passed. He was really getting himself together and being nice. I cried...that was just sad. I think Lizzie is being careful...and not getting her hopes up. After the last time Jonathan came to town and left with Sara...I think she is thinking this is too good to be true. I am sooooo happy for Billy and Vanessa...I LOVE BILLY. I really hope they get Reva and Josh back together before the end...They are the show to me...always have, always will be. Oh and who can forget Roger...he was the bomb back in the day.

After all the years of me disliking Alan, I started to cry after reading he had died. I'm glad he got a chance to change before dying. But I'm not sure why he had to die, new Alan rocked. I still don't like James, why is it always about him? I know Jeffery isn't dead, but can't they let Josh and Reva get back together, the show shouldn't end with them being apart. If Philip and Beth can do it, why not Josh and Reva? A

I'm heartbroken they killed Alan. How cruel it is for Phillip to lose his father when they all were becoming a true family. Maybe, somehow, it's all not real. After all, television can create anything. I will miss these characters so much. Through the years, when my own life was so sad and disappointing, this show was the one thing that would take my mind off my problems. At my age, loss of even a TV soap makes me feel a more older.

But I was happy that Buzz and Lillian and Vanessa and Billy got married.

It would be great if they ran the reruns from the beginning of Guiding LIght. I would watch it.

I knew Lizzie has seen Sarah this past week, but really, when Jonathan gave her joint custody (today) she should have been crying her heart out with excitement. I ddin't see that today. And, if you all remember Lizzie told Jonathan to take Sarach away the last time because she knew Sarah would be safe with him and not her. Jonathan has not been the bad guy at all. Yes, he took Sarah in the beginning but Lizzie was not a fit mother then. I am proud of him that he gave her joint custody.
Next, I have always loved Alan - good or bad. He was just the best in my opinion. Gossipqueen75, you loved him too. I have not read anything about Alan being the person to die. But I guess that was the only way to end his s/l. Too bad. I read somewhere that the last episode was going to be flashbacks and futures of the current cast. It said that it would be what happens in the future. But, then again who knows. I still stand firm on Josh and Reva. There is suppose to be a confrontation between Jeffery and Edmund. I thought that maybe both would die in the end. But I don't see Josh and Reva together. And to me that stinks.

3Puppies (another Alan lover besides me),
I am going to miss you and your daily lists. I haven't been on here much, but really I am going to miss you!!! This is a hard one for me to swallow.

This is going down very nicely down the stretch.
A bit surprised Josh is leaving...but it seems Reva is IN love with her husband and so Jeff will reunite with her and his son.
Great storyline on Alan. For as evil as this rascal has been through the years, they just couldn't let him off the hook that easily. So he dies sitting straight up and a hero. Can't beat that!
