They go to the park and try to figure out how to do it. She thinks they should just bring everyone into the same room and do it all at once. He suggests they do it one person at a time, starting with his dad. Josh walks up on cue. They explain everything to him. Josh is shocked.
Mallet goes in for a job interview. He wants immediate relocation and says that he has no ties. They offer to send him off that day.

Marina, Shayne, Josh and the baby head to Cross Creek and tell Reva the news. She's shocked. She hugs her son and tells him this must be why she's always gotten along with Henry so well. Shayne insists that Marina will always be Henry's mother. They explain how this happened.

Beth and Phillip finally arrive. He tells her he couldn't get through this without her. She wants to be with him every step of the way. As they hug, James comes in. They go into the waiting room with everyone else. Phillip tells them he's dying. When it becomes clear that he's known for months, James walks out. Lizzie cries to her father and Alex sobs to Alan. "I see you found a cure Dr. Bauer, so why are you letting my father die?" James demands.

Jonathan picks up Sarah and tells her they're going to see her mom.
The Coopers arrive at the courthouse to meet Shayne and Marina. Frank jokingly asks her if she's going to tell them that Shayne is Henry's father. "Actually, he is," she says. Frank's jaw drops. Shayne tells the story and Marina explains why Mallet left. Shayne promises to be the best dad he can be. Frank slips out to call Mallet and tell him how sorry he is for being hard on him.
