Cyrus is arrested, Alan and Phillip's breakthrough doesn't last and Olivia decides to track down Nat.

The Coopers, Blake and Cyrus are clearing up Company for renovations. They wonder who paid for the new stove and the crew that is repairing the roof. Remy calls Cyrus and tells him that he needs to get rid of the diamonds immediately and then hangs up. Cyrus wanders outside and tells himself that he can't toss the diamonds until he finishes taking care of this family. A moment later, two Federal agents walk in and arrest him.

At the station, Frank catches Remy trying to tip off Cyrus and orders him into custody.

James is with Daisy at the minimart. He tells her all about his camping trip until Lillian bustles in and asks him what happened. He explains that he took the car and left his father and grandfather. "How could you be so stupid?" she asks, berating him and telling him that life is short.

When Frank gets to Company, Cyrus has been arrested. Frank tells Blake to leave while Buzz demands some answers. The agents begin searching the place. "How could you do this again?" Marina asks Cyrus. Daisy and James walk in as Cyrus tells the agents that the diamonds are in his pocket. When they take them, they grab his note listing his gifts as well. The Federal agent says that everything bought with the stolen goods will have to be repossessed. They take Daisy's check and tell Cyrus he'll be going away for a very long time. After the agents leave, Marina gloats about how it was Buzz's idea to give Cyrus a second chance.

Lillian goes to see her daughter and tells her what happened in the woods. She thinks they should go and get Alan and Phillip and talk some sense into them. Beth doesn't think that will ever work and tells her she's on her own. "Phillip needs you," Lillian says. Beth says that Phillip hasn't been honest with her. "Honesty is relative," Lillian says, ushering her off.

Olivia and Josh walk out of the bar. She tells him that she's in trouble, drinking alone and leaving her child with a woman she barely knows. She wishes she could laugh about all of this and gives Josh a hug, thanking him for keeping her out of trouble. He takes her home, flirting with her the whole way.

Blake shows up at Olivia's and finds her sitting on the bathroom floor eating chips. She asks her if Nat will ever come back. Blake doesn't know. She orders her friend to take a shower and sober up.

Olivia goes to the station and tries to get Remy to go searching for Natalia. He agrees to check her records for old addresses.

Daisy goes to see Cyrus in the cells and asks him why he hates her family so much. He says he was trying to pay them back and doesn't usually get caught. She says that they are worse off now than ever before and he needs to stay away from them. She goes into the courtroom and runs into Remy. When she complains about Cyrus, Remy makes excuses for him but she's unconvinced.

In the woods, Phillip offers to take a walk and try to find a signal so they can make a call. "We're stuck Dad and if James ever has a son, he'll be stuck here with us," Phillip says. Alan thinks he's blowing things out of proportion and tells him to stop trying to fix things. He tells his son that he's spent too much time thinking about the past. Phillip admits that he stayed away because it was easier and he was scared. He tells his father that he taught him to be brave and never walk away from a fight. "I don't know anything about courage," Alan admits. Everything he is comes from his own cowardice. He tells him about how he begged his father to keep him out of the army. Brandon used an employee to take his place and go to war. That man never came home to his wife and children. "I didn't just let it happen, I made it happen," Alan says. Phillip makes excuses for him and tells him that if they can really learn to talk to each other... they're interrupted when Beth and Lillian drive up and honk. Phillip tells them to go home but Alan's happy to see them. He and Lillian start packing while Beth asks Phillip what happened. "I'm not really sure," he says.

Lillian walks into Company and sees that everything is torn up. Buzz explains what happened with Cyrus. "Why do I do this to my family?" he asks himself. She thinks he just likes to give people second chances. He feels like a sucker. She doesn't think he should beat himself up for believing in people.

Buzz goes to see Cyrus in the cells. Cyrus apologizes. Buzz understands what he was doing and says this is as much his own fault.

Beth takes Phillip and Alan home. As she looks for James, Alan pours them a drink and starts getting back to normal. Phillip still wants to talk but his father would rather read the paper and pretends their conversation never happened. Phillip is shocked but Alan insists that everything he told him was a lie. He storms off as James comes in. "Guess I didn't miss much," James says.

Blake goes to the station to get an update. Frank is beating himself up about everything that's happened. He feels like he set Cyrus up for this and worries about what will happen to the restaurant. She offers to take him out for pizza and pool.

Olivia calls Christiana and tells her that she needs to pick up Emma so they can go to Chicago.

    Next on Guiding Light:

Alex tells Phillip about Alan's draft dodging.

Dinah asks Mallet how things are with Marina.

Olivia and Emma go in search of Nat.

This sucks! All the characters are going to end up miserable when the show ends. I don’t understand why they can’t write a happy ending for everyone instead of just trying to get Emmy nominations with this crap. All the writers care about are themselves. I think I’ll stop watching and make up my own ending.

I am with you.......we have all stayed with this show even tho we have known for a long time that it was going off the air in some of us have been with it for decades and decades and this is how those silly people are going to let it end............if Cyrus was doing only good things with the money, leave him the heck alone!!! Work with us here people...........bring on some of the happy endings we all want and deserve!!!

    Hi mom6,
I am wondering if the writers are going to have time to end ALL the s/l's that are open. Time is running out. One thing = is Grady dead, alive, left the show, what???? That is only one of the many hangers out there. If they intend to end all, there has to be some fully packed episodes from now on. Today almost felt like a Wednesday.

This does suck. Yesterday was so good and then today it is as though it never happened. Just when we are seeing a side to Allen that needs to be there--zip--gone. Cyrus trying to do good--zip--gone. Why are you making this so diffcult. Let there be a little bit of happiness even if is is a soap. I have watched this show since I was a little girl with my grandmother some 40 plus years, give us the endings that we want so that the memories will always be there. Sharing the soaps with my grandmother are very fond memories that I cherish because she is no longer here. We would talk about what had happened and what needed to happen next. The characters are a part of our lives. It is just sad to see it end. As for Reva her acting is still there. Best was the fountain scene years ago. You go girl.

I know today may not have been the best of shows but it is still better than the Bold and the Beautiful and it is still going to be on. The whole Ridge/Brooke/Taylor thing has never been as good as Josh/Reva/and whoever else. At least Josh and Reva didn't always run back to the same other person. I have watched the show ever since I can remember. There have always been good shows and bad shows, bad story lines and good ones. The thing that really sucks is it is ending and we are all looking for some conclusions. I read somewhere else that the powers that be wanted to the show to fail so they made story lines to alienate viewers. I guess perhaps Proctor and Gamble wants out of the soap biz. If that is the case, we should all be worried about As the World Turns since they hired writers from the Guiding Light.

i don't even watch this show anymore becuase every single person is unhappy. who wants to see that? maybe this is why the show is being cancelled. People like passion and happy endings and crazy chemistry which none of the couples on this show seem to have. everything seems forced and even if they are happy this week, something will tear them apart next week. there isn't even ONE couple on this show who happens to be "THE" couple who have withstood years of ups and downs and are still together. every other soap that i watch has this. GL sucks. I'll actually be glad to see the end to all this misery.

seems to me that Guiding Light committed suicide when it killed tammy off killing off tammy/jonathan/lizzie. and to think, they did it just for sh*ts & giggles. there was no reason for it and it all went down from there. I still think Reva should wake up from the dream that has been the last two year. i don't watch anymore, i read here and sometimes not even
