    Living In A Daycare Center.

    Tuesday, May 12 2009
Marina and Christina team up, Nat gets a hard time from Buzz and Doris and James tells his father what he's been up to.

Emma tells Nat that her mother doesn't listen to music at breakfast anymore. She misses having both of her moms together all the time. Natalia tries to explain the situation and Emma keeps asking if she and her mom can move back in. Nat says that they still have things to figure out. They hug.

Outside Company, Maria worries to her father about Henry's hospital bills.

Inside, Remy is rehearsing how he is going to tell Christina that he was fired. She arrives and explains that she got her daycare license and has applied for a small business loan. Remy's impressed. She talks about her business plan. Marina listens and suggests that they use her house as a location. They talk about becoming partners. "I'm going to be living in a daycare center?" Buzz groans in dread. Remy offers to lend them some cash. Christina tells him that knowing he believes in her is what keeps her going. As he walks out, Buzz grabs him and asks him what he's doing. He has no idea. As Remy runs off, Buzz asks Frank what's wrong. Frank insists he's fine, even if he hasn't shaved for a few days.

Natalia goes to the minimart for some stuff. She runs into Buzz and apologizes for what happened. She wishes they could still be friends. "Frank deserves better," he says, encouraging her to give his son another chance. She can't. He thought he knew her but she followed her heart to the altar and then ran away. She doesn't want to hurt anyone and doesn't want to pretend anymore. He tells her that when she committed to Frank, she committed to the whole family. "Next time you should think of that before you jump in," he says.

Back at Company, Christina is shocked to have her grandmother Loretta walk in. After they hug, Buzz arrives. He and Loretta begin arguing about the sauce recipe she claims he stole. Loretta sits down with her granddaughter. As they look at her plans, Loretta tells her that she is just planning to become a babysitter.

Doris runs into Frank at Towers. He's sarcastic. She tells him to clean up and apologizes for what happened. She offers to help out. He asks her to make Mallet a detective again and put a word in for Rafe. She can't believe that he is trying to help Nat after what she did to him. "Just make it happen," he says.

Across the room, Mel is telling her mother about her new boyfriend. Clayton is distracted by his phone. Felecia talks about her plans to re-decorate the house. Mel gets called off to the hospital.

Remy runs into his sister outside. He complains that his bank account is on life support. He wants to help Christina. She suggests he talk to their father. He refuses. Mel tells him to get over himself and directs him over to Towers to see Clayton.

Remy goes inside to see his father. After Felicia leaves, he asks for a loan to help start Christina's daycare. "I don't know if I can help you," Clayton admits. Remy's embarrassed and wants to leave. Clayton tells him to stay and explains that he wants to give him the money but he can't get to it. He hasn't been able to access his accounts since he started investing in a new financial group.

Doris goes looking for Olivia at Nat's. "Olivia doesn't live here anymore," Nat informs her. Doris thinks she seems rattled. Nat explains that she and Olivia had a little trip. "Now you're back and reality is different," Doris says. "Coming out is hard," she explains. "I don't know what you think I am," Nat objects. "What do you think you are?" Doris snaps at her before telling her that, even after she dumped him, Frank got her to pull some strings to help Rafe out. After she leaves, Natalia calls Olivia and tells her how hard it is to be there without her.

James runs into Alan at the mansion. After he veers away, Alan tells Phillip that James has no respect for his elders. Philip isn't surprised; he's just like he was. "Now you'll get to see what it's like to be me," Alan says. Phillip hopes he doesn't make the same mistakes. They argue about what's best for James. Alan thinks he's just languishing and Lizzie's engaged to a 'loser' Lewis. "Take charge of your children before they fall further into the abyss," Alan advises.

Upstairs, Lizzie is going over her wedding plans with Bill. She wants a "Gone With the Wind" theme. Phillip interrupts looking for James. She asks him to look at her bridal magazines. He thinks they could do Civil War re-enactments at the wedding. Lizzie and Bill laugh. Phillip loves to see her happy. After he leaves, she admits to Bill that she's still not sure how to feel about her dad but she's glad that he has James to focus on. "Not the easiest guy to like," Bill comments about him, sure that her brother has a problem with him.

James is on the lawn taking care of business calls. The calls keep coming in. He pretends to be a fund manager and deals with some disgruntled callers. When he turns around, he finds his father standing there. "That sounded like a business call," Phillip says. James claims it was just his headmaster. Lizzie approaches and tells her brother that Bill wants to talk to him about an idea they are developing. James says he has no time. She pulls him in.

Inside, Lizzie and Bill try to convince James to join their think tank of college students. He claims he doesn't know anything about business. Lizzie gives him her pitch but he's not interested in joining the 'Spaulding army'. Alan orders him to apologize. James walks off. Alan tells Phillip to set limits for his son. Phillip refuses until he knows him better. "That boy has problems and you better find out what they are before it's too late," Alan warns.

Bill looks at the cake catalog. Lizzie doesn't understand why James doesn't want to be involved with them. He tells her that she is not her brother's keeper. He's still sure that James has a problem with him. They make out and then run upstairs.

Phillip follows his son outside and interrupts him while he's on the phone. James tells him that he doesn't want to be Lizzie's lapdog. Phillip has the feeling that something is going on with him and asks him to open up. "What if I told you that you could get in on the ground floor of an amazing investment opportunity?" James asks. Phillip points out that you need money for that. James admits that he is running a ponze scheme through an alias. Phillip is outraged. James confesses that he's been working under Bill's name.

    Next on Guiding Light:

Bill tells Alan that he plans to win him over.

Clayton tells his son about the investment group.

James turns to his father for help.

Well now we know what kind of trouble James is in. I suppose Phillip will bail him out. James is going to turn out just like Daisy, trouble after trouble. What will this cost Bill down the road? If James is using his name, there could be serious trouble for Bill. Doris' visit to Nat - I am still confused about Nat. Does she or doesn't she know what it means "Coming out" and if she does why act stupid? I don't even care anymore about Nat. So on with my comments: Marina in a day care center, she can't take care of her own baby all day, how will she work this out? Oh, wait, Christina will handle it all. I bet Remy is going to get himself involved with bad people again. Now, two questions:
1.When did Doris become the Chief, I thought she was the Mayor? Or is she both???????????
    2. When is Remy going to tell Christina he was fired?

After reading the spoilers in a magazine, looks like there is going to be a lot of action for GL in the coming months. I just hope they finish all the stories before it goes off. Maybe, just maybe, it won't go off. Let's hope.

James James James its not that he doesnt like Bill he just borrowed his name. The way they are taking Marina and Christina is stupid.Just give Crissy a break andlet her be a doctor, heck they let Mel be both a DR and a Lawyer.I am over the O and N sl.Either get them together or let them be happy w/someone else. I think Oliva and Doris would be a better pair. Both are pushy women.
I hope they do fight to save it these snoozer sl are the death of this soap.

    Hello 3Puppies,GLandWT, mom6,Gossipqueen75,Vanillahere and Sunflower23.

I wonder ifClayton is investing in Jame's scheme? Looks like Bill will be in a lot of trouble if it gets discovered.

I read that Jeffery and Edmond both die.

I sure hate that about Jeffery if it is true, I love him. This may be the way Reva and Josh get back together. It said Bradley Cole wanted to leave to pursue his music.

I had heard about Jeffery but NOT about Edmund. I thought his stay was a lot longer than this. I hate to see Edmund go, we just got him back. Kind of like another Alan, a guy you love to hate.

I bet that Clayton has invested in the ponze scheme. That is going to hurt that family when they are broke. How is Remy going to help Christina and he will be forced to tell her he got fired.

I am with Julien, either put Olivia and Nat together or get over it already! They just keep going and going it is becoming another kidnapping s/l.

I just hope Bill and Lizzie get married soon before it can be ruined.

Hi: 3Puppies, Julien, GLandWT, Vanillahere and all

Clayton did invest with James' scam. He told Remy he invested in this new fund, and it was the same name as the one James had going. So, Clayton may be broke already. That will be ANOTHER s/l. Can't they just finish at least one before they start another? And both of you (Julien and yourself) are completely right about Otalia. Get together or end this now. Isn't Natalia due to have her baby in June? Maybe that will end the s/l when she leaves on maturnity leave.

Well, James' scheme does have a certain symmetry to it. Dinah stole Phillip's identity to get Alan's money and control of Spaulding which she gave to Bill. Now James is stealing Bill's identity and likely to pull the tide back to the Spauldings. He's actually following nicely in Alan's footsteps as a ruthless businessman. Alan should wake up and stop complaining. As for the daycare center being at Cooper Central? Huh? There are a ton of single, adult males living there (Buzz and Frank right?) so I find it hard to believe that that facility could be approved for a daycare. I think they would be better shooting those scene outside in a playground setting since it's warm out now until the end of GL on CBS.

3Puppies I read that when Josh hears Edmond has been burned and in the hospital he and Shane go to see if it is Edmund, it turns out to be Roc. So Edmund is on the loose again, I don't know if he kills Jeffery or not. But another place says Reva becomes a suspect for Mallet, it doesn,t say for what.

People, people, people...the Otalia storyline isn't ending. It's bringing "Guiding Light" more fans and more PR than its had in years and this despite the show being cancelled. As for today's show, I enjoyed seeing the Boudreaux family together and really like the new/old Clayton; he feels like a patriarch. Also, I always like the Mel/Remy interaction since they feel like siblings and they're both very pretty. I worry for Remy, though. His money woes are going to be trouble... Bizzie was great, as always. I love Daniel Cosgrove and Marcy Rylan's interaction; they always seem natural together and like they're having fun. I hope Buzz picked up some Valium at the market b/c he needs to chill out. Loved! the Emma/Natalia interaction. There's no doubt that these two love each other like daughter and mother. Doris needs a new jacket.

I do hope they close all these S/L before the show ends. Where is Cyrus????? Are they ever going to find his bother? Danny and Michelle and Jonathan s/l ought to be good. Please dont mess with Bizzie any more let them get marry and be happy.
