Guiding Light - DAILY UPDATES

At home, Olivia tells Emma that she will get to see Phillip, but they have to work out the how and when together. Emma hopes she helped him by testifying and that she'll see him again. Olivia tells her that they need to concentrate on making this party a success for Natalia's sake. "Frank and Natalia's," Emma corrects her. Nat walks in wearing a new dress and asks if she looks okay. Olivia gives her a necklace as a wedding gift. She and Emma help her put it on. Frank comes in and tells his fiancée how beautiful she is. Emma asks them all to pose for a picture. Olivia is uncomfortably pulled in and then goes for the champagne.

Marina and Mallet are getting dressed up to go the party. As they make out, Daisy tells them to get a room. Their room has a baby in it. Marina threatens to assign her to the grease trap at work. Buzz didn't think he would live to see Frank get married again. They all file out, leaving the baby with the sitter.

Edmund is at Cross Creek as Reva begins going into labor.

Josh goes to see Jeffrey at his office and worries that Edmund could become dangerous and a threat to Shayne. He thinks they need to get him out of town immediately. Jeffrey can't deal with this while Reva is about to go into labor. Suddenly Edmund calls on Reva's phone. "What have you done?" Jeffery asks. "Thumb screws," Edmund jokes. Reva grabs the phone from him and tells Jeffrey she's going into labor. Edmund will drive her to Cedars and she can meet him there. Josh grabs Jeffrey's keys and offers to drive.

Josh and Jeffrey get pulled over by the cops for speeding. They get out and bicker until the cop walks over. They tell him that they are rushing to the hospital because Jeffrey's wife is in labor. The cop has heard that one before. The men begin to argue and yell at each other until the cop orders them to put their hands on their heads. They continue yelling at each other until the cop decides to take them downtown so they can chill out in a cell. Jeffrey begs again to be let go. He shows him his ID and tells him that he is the district attorney. The cop calls to check if it's real.

Edmund and Reva arrive at Cedars. She claims she isn't really going into labor. Edmund makes her sit down and tells her that he will help her through this delivery if he has to. "Life cannot be that unfair," she groans. When she is brought into the room, she asks him to stay. He's amazed that having him around would be preferable to being alone. She asks him if he's ever been scared. He confesses that he was scared when he discovered he had a daughter. After all of the times he's faced death, the first time he felt fear was when he found out that he had something to lose. The doctor arrives. Reva won't let Edmund leave. She asks the doctor to halt the labor until she is ready. "Is this all about when you're ready? Doesn't your child have any say in the matter?" Edmund asks.

Remy catches Daisy trying to sneak a beer at Company. He takes it away and drinks it himself, suggesting she make better choices than he did when he was her age. Daisy admits that she's tired of being surrounded by happy couples. Remy suggests that Grady took off to do her a favor. He complains about how rotten he was. "He loved me," Daisy says, and she's sure Alan was behind him leaving. Remy tells her to steer clear of the Spauldings.

At the party, Buzz tells Daisy to smile, even if she doesn't mean it. She wishes she could let go of the sadness the way he has. Frank walks by and his father asks him how a sap like him ends up with a woman like Natalia. Frank isn't laughing. Daisy tries to be positive. A few feet away, Marina paces and stares at her cell phone just in case the sitter calls. Nat walks over and tells them that she is impressed that they could tear themselves away from their baby; she would be a wreck. Mallet jokingly tells her she will have to get the Cooper tattoo. As they laugh, Olivia walks down the stairs and steps over Buzz. He tells her how important this kind of happiness is. "Natalia's an amazing person. She should be happy," Olivia says. As she walks by Nat, she trips and spills water on her. As she wipes it away, Father Ray arrives. He's there to perform the blessing. She welcomes him. "Be good to her Frank, or else," he says. When Olivia greets the priest, he tells her that Sister Ann says 'hello'. Everyone's slightly confused so Olivia fumbles through an excuse. Father Ray begins his blessing, hoping that their love and faith will be a help to everyone else. A wedding is a new beginning and their love could be the light to guide them through the darkness.

Olivia and Natalia slip upstairs. Olivia just wants to see her happy. Emma interrupts them. She wants to take a family picture.

Father Ray tells Buzz and Daisy that Coop's former students have launched a scholarship in his name. Frank and Natalia arrive, looking for the rest of the family so Emma can take some pictures. They realize that Marina and Mallet already ran back to their baby. Daisy becomes uncomfortable and wants to leave. Buzz stops her. She wants Coop to be remembered for more than just being a teacher. She needs to find out what happened to Grady and what to do with herself.

Frank tells Natalia that Olivia really went all out. She thinks she did too much. As he starts babytalking to her, Buzz announces that they need to toast. Olivia comes downstairs and says that she will make the toast; she knows what needs to be said.

When they get home, Marina and Mallet check over the baby to make sure that everything is okay. He tells her that he didn't even know how much he wanted the child until he had him. They feed him and laugh at the faces he makes.

Jeffrey and Josh arrive at Cedars. Reva's doctor says that they can still stop this but the baby has other ideas. Jeffery thanks Josh and then hurries to Reva. "This isn't like you, making a dramatic entrance," he jokes. He tries to thank Edmund. Edmund doesn't want word of this to ruin his reputation. After he leaves, Reva tells Jeffrey that she's not ready but the baby is. They tell each other how much they love each other and the contractions speed up.

Edmund tracks Josh down and asks him to stick around and see how this works out. "Not my show this time," Josh says. Edmund thinks that this isn't random; maybe they were all brought there like this for a reason. Josh doesn't want to think about it and leaves.
