I use to love "Guiding Light" and i am very happy Phillp is back, but this Nat & Olivia attraction is getting on my nerves. What happen to the moral values? Everyone does not approve of this same gender relationship. Maybe this soap needs new writers. Reva and Josh are still the stars of this soap. Bring back the Bauers and there values. This soap has lost everything i grew up on. Good to see Bill and Lizzie moving forward. Mallet and Marina are so boring. Shayne and Dinah are interesting. I see chemistry there. Beth can take a vacation now. Alan should stand trial for his part in Lizzie kidnaping and Coop's death, indirectly. Time for some new storylines and people. I only read the updates of this soap. I will not watch until you get rid of this Nat & Olivia relationship. I hope Nat does not disappoint Frank at the last moment.

I was very upset to hear Guiding Light will be doing the last episode in Sept. I have watched this show, it seems forever. I hope CBS figures a way to continue the show.
The rateings may be low but the show is good and I look forward to it everyday, as I am sure a lot of people do.
Please CBS change your mind. Don't cancel!!!!

As for Nat and Olivia, I think what is going to happen is, Olivia is going to toast Nat and get all sappy and since Nat is due to have her baby soon she and Olivia or just Nat maybe will run away. Leaving poor Frank in the lurch once again. Personnally I am not sure why she said yes to marrying him. She doesn't love him. Hell she only dated him a couple of times. I think she only went to bed with him to prove to herself that she wasn't a lesbian, but I don't think that worked.
As for the Olivia and Nat sl. I would leave it as is. Just the hint of a love but not take it to the finish. I think the chemistry between Olivia and Nat is great. I just wouldn't want to see it go any further.
They should have never killed off Tammy and got rid of Jonathan. But that might have gotten boring to after a while.
They should do something about Alan getting away with all of the things he has done. Killing Tammy, knowing about Lizzy's kidnapping. He shouldn't beable to keep getting away with these things.
Raul goes to jail right away for shooting the DA when it was clearly an accident but Alan gets away with Murder and kidnapping. That isnt right. No justice in this show at all.
Maybe if the writers kick it up a notch and stop being so rediculous the ratings wouldn't be so low.

I know no one wants this show to end, but quite honestly, how bad can Alan get, how many more things can Reva have happen to her, the Lizzy/Bill SL is over, what is Philip's return meant to do. There's just no excitement anymore. This is the writer's fault for letting things go into limbo too many times. I still remember when Edge of Night was cancelled and I'm really not all that old. Wonder what will take the place of GL?

I'm 33 years old and I've watched this show since I was a child with my grandmother. I will miss the old and new characters that the great actors and actresses bring to us each day. So good luck in your future roles guys and gals. P.S. I love Jeffery but PLEASE put Reva and Josh back together before the show ends. It wouldn't be the Guilding Light I've loved all these years if that doesn't happen.

I see that it must be official that GL is gone from CBS in the fall. I got a daily email from my local station that says it go off the air in September. I had hopes this was all rumor & etc, but it must be true.

I just read on MSN that Guiding Light is being take off the air. This is such a shock! I have been watching Guiding Light since 1978! This show is a part of my life and the cast is like family! I can't believe this is happening! I look forward to coming home after work, even though I record it on my DVR, I watch this show as I work out. This show has been a part of my life for 31 years. Wow!!! I will miss this show terribly. I wish I could give everyone a hug. I miss you all already! I wish there would be some way that someone could keep this show on. Goodbye...:-(

It's so sad. I dvr it every day and watch it later. And that makes ratings lower, sadly. But I went to watch it this morning (yesterdays) and don't even want to because it's going to end. So sad.....

I just finished reading todays posts, and frankly...I'm amazed. I read the posts every day and all I have heard is how boring this show was, so sick of this one and that one. Well u happy posting ppl...guess u finally got what u wanted all along. If the "posters" would post nice stuff about the show, maybe CBS wouldn't kill it. Just my opinion, but why would CBS keep a show running that everyone argues about. I, personally will really miss all the Guiding Light cast. I grew up with them. Oh well, guess I can always watch another exciting Dr. Phil or Oprah (GAG!!!) Thanks everyone.

I for one am very happy this story is being CANCELLED!! I am so tired of seeing Lizzy running around screamming, it's pathetic! I use to love GL, however, the writers have done a poor job. If I am off from work I just turn the channel when GL comes on. Hopefully that stupid As the world turns will be next! I hope the soap channel won't pick this soap up as is. If they change it perhaps! AND THE WHOLE THING WITH OLIVIA HAVING FEELINGS FOR NAT, sickos...
