The Tough Ones Are Usually Worth It.

    Tuesday, March 17 2009
Dinah throws a party for Lizzie and Bill, Phillip confronts Dinah and Daisy worries that Buzz is going crazy.

Bill steps out of the shower and plays with his dog until Lizzie calls. She doesn't want to play the 'strangers' game today. She needs to go to the station and make a statement about Grady and asks him to meet her there.

At home, Mallet is doing another load of baby laundry. Grandpa Frank teases them and then tells Marina he has to leave for work. Once he's gone, Marina admits that she's glad her grandfather is out of town right now. She thanks Mallet again for bringing the child home. Having a baby forces everyone to look forward to the future. Billy and Vanessa arrive with Ashlee to see the baby. They worry about Buzz and Daisy.

Daisy and Buzz are searching the neighborhood of her old school for signs of Grady. They don't have any luck. He becomes distraught and starts to yell. When she goes to wait in the car, he spots Jenna in the distance and rushes after her. As he walks through the woods, he stops and asks himself what he's doing. He begins to cry and scream, banging his head against an abandoned truck. Daisy watches him. When he sits down, she approaches. He apologizes. She doesn't think this drifting is good for him. He refuses to go back to town without Grady. She slips away and calls Billy, worried about her grandfather. He tells her they should come home. She'll see what she can do. Returning to Buzz, she suggests again that they go home. She's worried that he's going crazy and she wants him to get help. "Get outta here. I'm better off without you," he says, trudging off.

At the mansion, Alan wants to celebrate being a free man. Phillip can't join him in the celebration because he isn't a free man yet. He confronts his father for framing Bill and tells him that he has to stop manipulating Lizzie or he will tell on him.

Dinah runs into Shayne at the mini mart. She tells him that she didn't want to stop them from sleeping together, but she had to. He doesn't mind that she has baggage but she does. Right now, she just wants to forget Phillip's threats. "I have erased my past," she claims. He doubts that. Dinah adds that she is completely calm and in control so she doesn't want to muddy things up with a relationship.

Phillip arrives at the station and asks Frank if there is anything new about the kidnapping. Frank makes it clear that he has no idea where Grady is. Lizzie arrives. She and her father are awkward. Bill trails in. Lizzie drags him into the hall and tells him he has to hold her hand while she gives her statement.

Alan is meeting with the new restaurant manager. He tells him that they will be keeping the same terrible menu but will be doing twice the business. Josh arrives and orders a Buzz Burger. As he sits down to eat, Shayne comes in and tells him that a friend of his is stuck living in the past. Josh says they should learn from their mistakes and assumes that his son is talking about himself. He's not.

Josh and Shayne go to The Beacon. Shayne tells his father how much he wants to help Dinah. Josh wonders if he is ready to move on from Lara. He's tried, but Dinah ran away. Josh tells him that women always want you to run after them and Dinah will make everything tough. "The tough ones are usually worth it," he advises.

Dinah arrives at the station and asks Frank about the investigation into Grady. He invites her in to hear what Lizzie has been saying. Frank tells Bill all of the charges against him have been dropped. Phillip's cryptic remarks make Dinah uncomfortable. She announces that she wants to have a party to celebrate Bill and Lizzie being back together.

Dinah arrives at Company. Alan lights a cigar and tells her that he's celebrating. She takes a drag of his cigar and invites him to the party.

Bill and Lizzie return to the mansion. They kiss on the couch until Phillip interrupts. He tells them that he's glad to see that he is making Lizzie happy. Bill promises that she is his number one priority. "That makes two of us," Phillip says. He leaves them alone and they make-out until Alan interrupts. He tells them that Dinah invited him to their party.

Dinah greets Billy and Vanessa at Towers. When Ashlee arrives, Dinah tells her that Grady kidnapped Lizzie. Ashlee is shocked and is sure that Daisy's world is about to collapse. Dinah tells her how she wants this story handled and then sends her off to work. Vanessa sashays over and tells her daughter that it's good to see her in charge. Dinah rushes off and calls Mallet to invite him. He's too exhausted and has to pass. She calls Josh and invites him. He shows up a few minutes later with his son. Shayne worries that this is the wrong time to make a move. Josh tells him to simply enjoy the time with her. Shayne runs into the elevator and his father follows after.

Bill is called up to make a speech. He thanks everyone and tells them how happy he is to have realized what his life is all about. He tells Lizzie how much he loves her and she says they need to thank Dinah. Phillip glares at Dinah while she uncomfortably listens to the toast. Afterward, he approaches her and flatly tells her that he knows everything.

Frank arrives at home and wakes up Mallet and Marina with a puppet. He fills them in on Lizzie and suggests they go to the party while he looks after baby Henry. They gather around and watch the baby wrinkle his nose. That's enough to make them stay.

So, will Phillip look to threaten Di tomorrow by throwing her off the roof? Or will Dinah look to take the easy way out and jump?

    Okay episode, Buzz is scary!!

Phillip's "matter of fact" way of telling Dinah he knows was a little creepy.

You all have to admit today's show was hysterical. Marina and Mallet sleeping (poor babies). Wait one minute, how do they both get time off work to take care of the baby? Is that something new with SF police department? How long before Marina starts to cry because she can't get any sleep? What a whimp!
Dinah annoyed me today. She acts like she didn't do anything wrong. Hope Phillip gives her some grief, it would serve her right.
Buzz needs help desperately. He is going off the deep end. He can't accept anything other than Alan killed Coop. Too bad, because I really like Buzz.
Daisy, hope she goes away and forgets to come back.
At least, no "O" and Nat today. Thank goodness.

Forgot one thing, "Happy St. Pat's Day to all."

The first thing out of Jack's mouth to Carly was "Why did you let this happen?" Carly should have slapped him with all she had!!!! Parker and Liberty should be sent to Boot Camp in opposite ends of the state. That should make them think twice about using the smart mouth everytime they open them. They may even realize how lucky they are to have parents that really care for them.

Ok I am done with this stupid kidnapping! This is BORING! I am ready for something to happen, someone to get busted! How long is Phillip going to make Dinah squirm? Will he even tell on her?? And why would Grady come back if he isn't dead, he is in serious trouble if he does.

I am not liking Buzz like this. He is a crazed maniac! I feel bad for him, but he needs to calm down especially for his health!

3Puppies you are right I have no idea what couple both gets to stay home from work to raise a baby!

    Have a great day.

    Gossipqueen,
I never had the choice of having my husband stay home when I had a child.
I, too, am so sick of this kidnapping s/l. Please oh please somebody stop the madness. We are all about to go crazy with this.
