I Hope He Fell Off A Cliff.

    Monday, March 16 2009
Lizzie and Bill start over, Cyrus and Dinah look for clues and Olivia and Natalia blackmail Doris.

Lizzie is calling Hilda for her earrings. Phillip shows up instead and begins to mumble. She tells him that Bill is back and she is feeling great. He promises her she won't have any problems. Grady confessed to him and that clears Bill's name and his. Grady is now 'someplace where he won't be hurting anybody anymore'.

At home, Olivia locks her gun away. Natalia doesn't like having it around. Olivia needs another idea. If she can't shoot Phillip, what can she do? They worry about Emma. Olivia decides to go down to the station and talk to the cops. Nat promises her that they can work this out.

Cyrus returns home and is surprised to find Dinah waiting for Grady. Cyrus tells her he's missing. "I hope he fell off a cliff," she says. She's worried about the fact that Lizzie has been running around saying that Grady kidnapped her. Cyrus tries to brush her off but she is keeping her eyes on him until they find his brother.

They break into a barn and look around. Cyrus suggests they make a list of possible places and split up. Dinah's impatient and worries about what her brother will do. The last he heard, Grady had gone to see Lizzie. He decides to run off and check if he took her payout.

Natalia goes to see Phillip at the mansion. She tells him that Emma wants to see him. "I would love that," he says. She can't let that happen. Olivia is too terrified. "If you don't give this some time and prove yourself, it will never happen," she warns. He understands and tells her that he loves Emma. "I love them both," Nat says.

Olivia hunts down Doris at Towers and tells her to get moving on putting Phillip back in jail. Doris is dismissive. Olivia watches her flirt with the barmaid and then rushes off. She calls Nat and tells her she has an idea of how to get Phillip.

Bill runs into his parents at Company and tells them that he is back. They had no idea he was even gone. After they tease him, he tells them that he and Lizzie are meeting up. She walks in on cue and bumps into him. They pretend to be meeting for the first time and then he returns to his confused parents. He explains to his parents that Lizzie is the most important thing in his life and they are starting fresh. "One hour. In the park," Lizzie whispers to him before she leaves.

Bill surprises Dinah while she's looking around the basement of WSPR. He thanks her for believing in him and being devoted to him. He wants a fresh start. "I'd really like to forget everything too," she says. He tells her that he loves her.

"You look pretty good for a dead guy," Doris jokes when Phillip goes to see her. He wants his trial moved up. She claims she has no power to do that and brushes him off with a suspicious glare.

Cyrus sits down with Lizzie at Towers. He tells her that he needs to find his brother so they can put this all behind them. She doesn't want him anywhere near her again. He reminds her that there are more people involved and says he has to come back and take the consequences of his actions. She admits that she never saw him take the money at the factory. Phillip eavesdrops as they talk.

Natalia meets with Olivia in Company. She tells her that there is someone they can influence to get the trial moved up. Nat doesn't see why Doris would help them. Olivia explains that Doris has a secret and they are going to use it to get what they want. She ran into her in a gay bar. "What were you doing in a gay bar?" Nat asks. Olivia claims that she was just looking for a drink and Doris was there hiding behind her hat. Nat doesn't like blackmail but Olivia says they are just being practical. "It's like baking pie," she says.

Vanessa and Billy are still sitting at Company. He thinks Bill's idea is sexy. She thinks it's foolish. "I think we should try what Bill and Lizzie are doing," he suggests. She laughs.

Phillip goes to the factory and finds the bag of money Lizzie left behind. He takes it and prepares to drive off. Before he can, he spots Cyrus and Dinah arriving. They search the factory and find no trace of the money. She tells him he should let his brother go. He can't do that. When he rushes off to search, Dinah begins walking out only to bump into Phillip. He tells her that he is looking for clues about the kidnapping. He's sure that Grady couldn't have done this alone. She claims that she is doing pre-production work. He continues to question her and make her squirm before offering to drive her home.

Olivia and Nat go to Doris' office. They tell her they don't care about her personal life but they will keep her secret only if she helps them. Doris agrees to move Phillip's trial up. They leave. She fumes.

Bill and a dog run into Roxie and Lizzie in the park. They pretend that this is only their second meeting. They spot Dinah walking through the park and call her over. They explain that they are starting over and introduce themselves. Bill talks about how reliable Dinah is and how much he owes her. She runs off and Lizzie says she should take her dog home. Bill asks her out for coffee. They get a coffee and talk about dogs until he suggests they set up a play date for the dogs. She gives him her number. Before she and the dog leave, she turns and gives Bill a kiss. "That's from the Lizzie that already knows you," she says.

Using an Australian accent, Phillip calls Cyrus and asks for Grady. He pretends to be from an airline and hints that Grady may have flown to Sydney.

Cyrus is having a beer at Towers. Doris drunkenly tells him she fired his brother. She doesn't give people the kind of chances she gave him. She wanted to mentor him but he blew it.

Dinah goes back to the station and watches the press conference that Bill and Lizzie gave before the kidnapping. "Why can't I make it all disappear?" she asks.

Phillip drives out to the cliffs with the cash. He empties the money out and then throws the carrying case it was in over the cliff.

Okay everybody, did Phillip kill Grady? Is Grady alive or not? I had hopes that Phillip wasn't responsible for Grady going over the cliff, but guess I am wrong.
Dinah has to come forwward and tell the truth once and for all. Why does she think she can get by with this? Oh wait, everyone gets away with murder don't they?
The s/l with Lizzie and Bill meeting for the first time is absolutely lame. How idiotic is that?
    Hope tomorrow is better.

I think today's show was great. Been watching since I was 5(now 35 ugh) and I have been mad at this show lately. Actually since they made 'the cousins' hook up(YUCK). Anyhoo today made me chuckle and everyone is almost acting themselves for a change. The Bill and Lizzie act is making them interesting to watch again, I might actually pull for them again. Where did Phillip learn such a perfect Aussie accent? Dinah and Cyrus seem to be returning to their old selves as well. Could the show FINALLY be getting back on track??? yay

I am so sick of Olivia.I am just mad at the way they have ruined her charecter. She needs to go she serves no purpose except to pine away or be realy pissed @ someone or over react and she is dragging Nat down w/her.I did not like Nat at first but after Gus died I was realy starting to like her, I realy like her w/Frank. I just think Olivia has served her time in town she has no purpose,I cant picture what there is one person "maybey Doris" maybey they could soften eachother up.

    3Puppies:

I dont think Grady is dead. I think they r going to make him the new Roger Thorpe and Daisy as Holly. Nothing will be able to kill him off.(no such good luck). If so this show has gotten so predictable. On the Bill/Lizzie the writers knew they had a crappy/lame sl and the have written themselves into a corner.

3Puppies, I agree with about the Bill and Lizzie s/l - very lame.

I do not like how Phillip is behaving concerning the disappearance of Grady. He is looking very guilty. Cyrus told Dinah that it's been 24 hours since he's seen Grady. How do you forget a bag containing one million dollars?

I want this kidnapping s/l to come to an end soon - no matter who gets hurt in the process (Alan, Dinah, and/or Cyrus).

Ok this S/L with the kidnapping has got to be coming close to over, right??? I mean I hope it is. I don't want Phillip to get into anymore trouble with getting rid of Grady.

I agree with Julien, I can't stand Olivia anymore! What a waste of a perfectly good character. She is so over reacting to Phillip and needs to get on with her life!

I hope Grady is dead and never ever returns!!! I can't stand him or Cyrus, maybe they will kill him off too. That would be ok with me.

    Julien and GLandWT,
I was hoping when Phillip returned that he was going to be like his old self. Good guy! I can't figure out what he is doing. It appears he knows who was involved in Grady's fall. Is it him ONLY or is someone else involved? I am beginning to think he was the only one there. But I also do not think Grady is dead. But, someone will kill him. There are a lot of people that would like to kill him.

I REALLY don't like the way the story lines are going for nat, olivia and doris....I had hope the writers would pass over that s//l. If that is all they can come up with write off those characters. Surely they are talented enough to find something else for those 3.

Posted by 3Puppies at Monday, March 16 2009 03:09 PM

    Hey guys,
I got so wrapped up in the "why" s/l of Lizzie and Bill that I forgot about O and Nat. Looks like Nat is turning into a whimp just like O. Wish they would just move on and get rid of that s/l. Just because other soaps have that s/l do we have to have it too? Rafe (I don't like him either) should come back and kick his mom in the butt. Straighten her out. Or take her out of town!!

Posted by Sunflower23 at Monday, March 16 2009 04:16 PM

OMG, Why does it have to be Phillip the cause of possibly Grady's death? I like Phillip, I dont want him to be the one responsible for Gradys death. Olivia has become very boring. Buzz has lost it. Why didnt Allan go to jail for shooting Phillip? I dont remember, how did he get out of that one?

Hi 3 Puppies, Julien, GLandWt, Vanillahere, and mom of 6, and everyone else...

I sure hope phillip didn't kill Grady . I like the way Bill and Lizzy are starting over. Too bad Dianah got mixed up with the kidnapping. I like her and Shane together. Wonder what has happened to Edmund.
