You're Meant to be a Fighter.

    Friday, March 13 2009
Natalia and Olivia search for Emma, Reva and Jeffrey go to court and Buzz pushes Lillian away.

Daisy tells Natalia that Grady will be back. Nat advises her to be careful where she puts her faith. She asks her to call if she needs any help. After Nat leaves, Daisy places a call to Remy.

At home, a panicked Olivia paces and calls around to find Emma. When she has no luck, she assumes that Phillip must have grabbed her. When Nat arrives, she finds Olivia loading her gun. Natalia orders her to put the gun away. Olivia sticks it in a box and then runs to the station.

Olivia tells Doris that Phillip has taken her daughter. She wants him thrown in jail for the rest of his life. Storming out, she gets a call and runs off.

Remy and Christina are at Company. She is narrowing down her class list when Mel walks in. She offers to help her out. Remy rushes off to see Daisy. Mel helps Christina out until she's called away. Leah arrives. She has to pick out her classes for Springfield U. Christina sits down to help her.

Remy goes to Marina's and checks Buzz out. He tells him that he wanted to kill Alan too but he learned to control it. "I'm not telling you to kill Alan, but if you don't find a place to put the anger, it's going to kill you," he advises. After he leaves, Buzz calls for Daisy.

At Cross Creek, Reva tells Lillian that part of her wants to run Jeffery over but the rest of her understands how he feels. She asks Lillian exactly what the chances are either way. Lillian can't give her any guarantees and tells her she will have to choose with her heart.

Doris tells Jeffrey that he has the precedents to win the case but needs more medical information. Colin arrives and says that they need to start the treatment immediately. He outlines the treatment and Doris says this should do the trick. She explains that they are suing Reva to force her to have a C-section. Colin thinks that's a terrible idea. Jeffrey just wants him to testify. Doris tells Jeffrey they have a slam-dunk case and he could make legal history. He only wants to bring his wife and baby home. Lillian arrives and tells him his wife wants to run him over. "You may be right, but you may be really wrong," she says. He needs Reva.

Colin runs into Reva in the hall of the courthouse. She thinks he's on her side. He agrees with Jeffrey, even if he thinks his strategy is awful. She wants to go to a karaoke bar. He warns her that things won't fix themselves, but he won't tell her what to do. He's an oncologist, not a marriage counselor. After he walks away, she calls Mel to be her lawyer.

Mel meets with Reva and tells her that no judge will give Jeffrey custody. She will have to counter sue for soul custody though. Reva sighs.

Back at Cedars, Lillian is reluctant to hand the medical papers over to Jeffrey. She worries about the toll it will take. "More than her dying?" he asks. She hands them over. He walks by the baby ward and looks in. Jeffrey is sure that the child will come into the world with a hard fight, but will be okay. "You're meant to be a fighter," he says to the sonogram he's been carrying around. He wouldn't ask this unless he knew it was the right thing.

When Mel goes to see Jeffrey, he tells her how much he loves Reva. She's been the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to him. He could raise the baby alone, but he doesn't want to. He needs to do it with her by his side. "No one has ever loved me like that," Mel says.

Doris meets with Reva before the trial. She tells her how much fun this is. Reva can't understand how she can be having fun with her life like this. As she rants at Doris, she has pains and has to sit down. Doris feels her belly and the baby kicks. Reva tells her that the baby is a miracle and it's her job to take care of him. Doris walks to Jeffrey's office and tells him he's on his own. She explains what just happened. "This is a whole new you," he observes. "Don't worry. It'll go away. It always does," she says. Simultaneously, Mel returns to Reva and tells her that she can't take her case and explains what Jeffrey told her and how profoundly he loves her. Before Reva, he could have never felt what he does.

Mel and Doris go to court to watch the trial. Judge Green opens the case. When the judge is cold and clinical about the matter at hand, Reva cries and objects, saying that Jeffrey is doing this in her own interests because he loves her. The judge thanks her for making Jeffrey's case for him. Jeffrey begins defending his wife. "I just want to bring my wife and baby home from the hospital!" he shouts. That's what she wants too. The couple stares at each other and doesn't know what to do. She offers to have blood tests taken everyday and consider having the C-section. He tells her their child will be strong. "It looks like you two worked it out. Case dismissed," the judge declares.

Lillian is surprised to find Buzz writing a note at the nurses' station. It says that he's going away. She asks him where. He needs to find Grady and he's taking Daisy with him. She thinks he needs to consider the consequences. Buzz says he will convince Grady to testify against Alan or hire him to kill him. When Lillian tries to hold him there, he aggressively pushes her hands away. She freezes up. He apologizes for being scary. He's reminding her of Bradley. He can't talk about this. She can't promise to be here for him when he gets back. "Who are you?" she asks. "I don't know," he admits. Daisy arrives and they leave.

Remy is playing with Emma on the teeter-totter in the park. He tells her she shouldn't have run off. Natalia runs over and tells Emma never to run off like that again. Olivia follows and says the same thing. Nat offers to help her make a card for Phillip. As Emma goes down the slide, Olivia reminds Nat of what a 'monster' he is. Nat offers to do whatever she can to help and doesn't want Phillip anywhere near the child until they know he's alright.

Remy returns to Company and finds Leah and Christina hanging out. After Leah leaves, Remy accuses her of picking his sister's classes because Mel chose hers. He doesn't want to get stuck in the middle of this battle. She just wants ice cream.

    Next on Guiding Light:

Olivia decides to use Doris' secret against her to get what she wants.

Phillip confronts Dinah with his knowledge about her role in the kidnapping.

Daisy pulls a gun on Alan and demands to know where Grady is.

I was all excited about watching the show today, and to my dismay, what a downer. Olivia is acting like Buzz - wacky. I can understand Buzz's feelings toward Alan, but this is going too far. Olivia is blaming Phillip for something he didn't do (sound familiar}. Reva and Jeffry, don't know where that is going. I just hope the baby doesn't die. We had enough of dying this season. Previews look interesting - Daisy shooting Alam.
    Everyone have a great weekend.

Olivia is a nut case. She needs to drive off a cliff.
Why does Remy have such boring story lines?
Jeffery is pushing Reva away, either way he is going to lose her. It’s a shame.

At first, I was a little disappointed that Jeffrey took Reva to court, but when Mel and Doris both declined their clients' cases, I was deeply touched. I thought it was sweet how Reva and Jeffrey defended each other and the Judge dismissed their cases.

I don't know what to think of Olivia's attitude towards Phillip. I think she is over reacting... Of all people, she should know that Phillip was driven over the edge those years ago, because she drove him there. If Emma wants to see her dad, Olivia should arrange a supervised visit.

Buzz scared me a little today. Lillian told him he brought back flashbacks of the abuse she was in with her ex-husband. That couldn't have been a good feeling. Buzz needs to get a grip on reality, grieve for his son, and take care of himself - for starters, get a shave.

I hope the previews don't fail us next week. I agree with you 3 Puppies, they do look interesting. Wouldn't it be something - Daisy shoots Alan, goes to jail, and Rafe is released from jail... I can't wait to see the expression on Dinah's face, but I guess I'll have to wait.

Hi 3Puppies, Mom6, Julien, Gossipqueen75, Vanillahere, Sunflower23, and all. Have a great weekend.

i like the fact that jeffery is taking reva to court because she is endangering the baby. i can't reva's actions because she's being selfish and she acts like she came to terns about dying. and alan is a idiot and i think phillip has something undger his sleeves for alan. and olivia is acting ridiculous and she should take that poor girl to see her dad. and when is they going to find grady's body?

I've been trying to hand in there with this show because I thought that it might get better, but it hasn't been. Ever since around the time Jon and Sarah left, this show has been on a downward spiral.

My favorite part of this episode was that they show Remmy and Chris. They don't show them enough to me.

What I didn't understand was that if Olivia was so certain Phillip had Emma, why didn't she call or go bye to make certain? And I also think that they only showed interaction between her and Doris because they want to develop a relationship with them.

Hopefully Buzz'll be back to normal soon, but I doubt it.

And I hope that they don't kill Reva's and Jeffery's baby. The last two times that babies have come into the story line, they haven't been born or lived (Ava and Daisy) so hopefully Miracle will.

When I first saw Daisy fire the gun, my jaw dropped and I laughed, but after I thought about it I realized that (if she really did shoot him) this will be the second time in recent years that Alan has been shot. They really do need to come up with some better story lines instead of reusing old ones.

Olivia is totally out of control and please do not show any more scenes where she is giddy over Natalia. Thank you very much. The show is boring~~get some new story lines.
