Buzz and Alan have heart attacks, Lizzie takes Roxie back and Phillip gets bail.
At the station, Lizzie listens to a recording from the kidnapper on Bill's phone. She starts to panic. Suddenly, Phillip is led out on the way to his bail hearing. He tells her about Bill's accusations against Cyrus. Phillip wants to help her find out who is really at fault when he gets out. She jumps away from him. He warns her to be careful about who she trusts.
Rick meets Beth for a meal at Towers. She wants him to come to Phillip's bail hearing with her. He's not enthusiastic. They talk about the upcoming reunion and she reminds him that they were all supposed to stick together. She is sure that Phillip is still the man who they used to know. Rick isn't convinced and worries that he is dangerous. He refuses to go to the bail hearing.
Grady is on the phone with his brother. Cyrus explains that he has Bill bound and in the Spaulding jet. While he gets rid of him, he needs his brother to make it look like Bill left town for a reason. Grady promises to take care of it. Daisy walks in and asks him what he's talking about. He covers. She suggests that he stay at Cyrus' while she is with her family. She doesn't think that he should be left alone with Ashlee because she has a crush on him. "I wish I'd known about this sooner. We could have had some fun together," he jokes. She doesn't appreciate it. He promises her that things will be okay.
Lizzie arrives at the courthouse. Ashlee leaps up and surprises her. She talks about how she wants to be the jailhouse correspondent. They discuss her father's case. Ashlee says it's cool that she's been kidnapped twice. "I guess you're in demand," she laughs. Lizzie isn't laughing back. She plays her the threat that was left on Bill's voice mail. Ashlee finds it exciting and creepy.
Christina tells Remy that her grandma is in the hospital again. He's concerned but she wants to keep him out of her family business. She worries that her grandma won't make it this time and she'll be left alone. He sits with her and tells her that family is more than just blood. She still wonders if she is doing the right thing by staying married to him to get the grant money. He puts a positive spin on it and they hurry off to ride in the ambulance.
Outside of the mansion, Buzz confronts Alan for Coop's death again. Alan claims that he is innocent. Buzz chases him with a tire iron while Alan yells that Buzz is responsible for his own son's death. While they wrestle, Alan has a heart attack and collapses. Buzz laughs and then has a heart attack of his own. They crawl on the ground until Alan pulls out his phone and prompts Buzz to call an ambulance. "And save your life?" Buzz asks. They argue as the ambulance arrives. When Christina and Remy rush over, they ask who is having the heart attack. "He is," Buzz and Alan say in unison. They argue with Remy as he checks them over. Alan lets Christina check him over while Buzz tries to strangle him.
Phillip's bail hearing begins. Beth is there to speak for his character. She argues with his lawyer when he suggests that Phillip throw himself on the mercy of the court. Phillip decides that he wants Beth to continue talking on his behalf. She promises the judge that Phillip is not a flight risk and serves no threat to the family. The judge grants bail and he is led out.
Lizzie runs into Rick in the station. They wonder if they can ever be safe with Phillip around. When he leaves to make a call, she calls Bill's secretary to say that she has his phone.
Grady runs into Ashlee at WSPR. When he flirts with her, she guesses he wants something. He tells her that he needs some help chasing down leads for her mother and asks her to check on Bill and Lizzie's desks. She agrees.
Daisy runs into Lizzie at the mini mart. Neither of them knows how they should be feeling or behaving right now. Lizzie apologizes for how everyone in her family has been causing trouble. They both wish Coop and Beth had never been involved. They eat Pringles and Lizzie admits that she is scared of her father... and Bill got his memory back and now assumes that Cyrus did it. She plays the message for Daisy and tells her that the kidnapper is still running around. Daisy says she should go to the police. Lizzie is sure they would make things worse.
Lizzie goes to The Beacon looking for Bill. She finds her dog in his room and decides she's made a huge mistake by leaving her there. After she notices that there is no food or water, Grady steps into the doorway. He claims that he is just checking in on the dog. When he takes the dog, she takes her back and announces that she will be taking the dog home with her. He offers to lock up and she walks out with Roxie. He calls Cyrus and warns him that Lizzie is poking around. He picks up the photo of Lizzie by the bed and threatens it.
Phillip is taken down to the cells. Frank thinks that setting him free is a big mistake. Phillip tells Beth that she was really good in court. She's still not sure that his getting out is good for anyone. He promises that he will be doing good for his family and asks her to be his lawyer. She reminds him that she's not a real lawyer. Pacing, she tells him that she's not qualified. He doesn't care; he thinks she's good. She'll need to think this over.
Ashlee runs into Daisy at the mini mart. She asks her to tell Grady that she had a look in the Spaulding offices and found nothing. Daisy gets a call from Cedars: Buzz has had a heart attack. Ashlee offers to drive her to the hospital.
Christina and Remy drive Alan and Buzz over to Cedars. Rick finds it hard to believe they simultaneously had a heart attack. Christina is excited to hear Rick tell her she did the right things. As Alan is wheeled away, Buzz warns him that this isn't over. Buzz's family arrives and they follow him into his room.
Christina goes to visit Alan. He thinks she's an angel for saving his life and promises not to forget it.
Lizzie takes Roxie home and tells her that she never knows who to trust. "Us girls, we just have to stick together. Just you and me Roxie," she says. The dog pants.
