    Affair With a Deli Slicer.

    Wednesday, December 03 2008
Frank and Olivia try to help Natalia, Coop tells Buzz his secret, Lizzie hires Cyrus and Bill turns himself in.

At the mansion, Alan hopes that Peyton never grows up. Beth knows he's worrying about Lizzie's involvement with Bill. She promises that they can protect their daughter together. Alan walks out.

In a motel bathroom, Grady is putting ointment on the scar on his chest. Cyrus comes to the door. Grady's surprised that he could hunt him down. He tells his brother that his deal with Alan is over. Now he's sure that he can't be caught. He shows his brother the scar that Lizzie gave him and explains that he left an identical mark on Bill. Grady laughs and hugs his brother. Cyrus seems less impressed. Later, Grady is gone and Alan comes to the door. Cyrus thought his deal with Grady was over. Alan says it's not and asks if he should trust his brother. Smirking, he asks him if he wants to continue being his brother's keeper or take work that pays well. Cyrus smirks back and shows him the door. "I'll take that as a 'maybe'," Alan says.

At Cedars, Olivia is getting a checkup from Rick. She wants to feel normal again. Rick can't make any promises. She returns home. As she sits in the hall of The Beacon, exhausted, Decker finds her. She tries to cover, but he suspects there is something seriously wrong.

Frank goes to the boarding house to check on Natalia. He accidentally wakes her up as she drowses on the couch. Finding a shirt from another restaurant, he asks her if she's taken yet another job. She's working the late shift somewhere else, she admits. Frank looks worried. When she goes down to Company to work, Frank watches before walking over and asking her why she is working herself to death. He offers to help her out. She tells him that she invested the money from the house and lost it. He's shocked, but she seems resigned. She tells him that she needs to make up for things. Frank doubts that's what her son would want from her. He asks her out for a date. Any other time in her life she would, but with her son in prison, she can't. He promptly gets up to bus the tables. Olivia and Emma arrive. The little girl wonders why Natalia is so exhausted. Natalia takes her to the counter for ice cream. Olivia offers her a raise; she thinks she works too much. Natalia won't stop working at Company.

Frank walks over and asks Olivia outside. He begins ranting at her about Natalia and suggesting that she is letting her sink instead of helping. Olivia tells him that she's been trying. "To be a decent human being? Stop trying because it's never going to work," he snaps, walking off.

Olivia returns to The Beacon and knocks on Decker's door. She tells him to give Natalia her money back.

Outside of Company, Coop tells his father that he doesn't want a lecture. Buzz doesn't lecture; he just has a lot of experience. He tells Coop that he is 'out of his mind'. "It is safer for you to have a love affair in that kitchen with my deli meat slicer," he warns. They sit on the stairs and Coop explains that he's been having writer's block. He met Beth in the library one day and they connected. Buzz reminds him about Alan. Coop is tired of being the nice guy who ends up with nothing. He doesn't want to be like Frank. Coop lists all of the Coopers and points out how few of them ever are level-headed about everything; he doesn't just want to write, he wants to live.

Coop calls Beth in the convenience store to confess that he told Buzz about them. She's sure her mother will soon know. Alan walks into the store looking for Coop. Beth hears his voice and panics. Coop hangs up. Coop asks him if he's 'slumming'. Alan knows that he's in his family's orbit again. It soon becomes clear that he's talking about Coop becoming James' 8th grade teacher. Alan admits that he read Coop's book and it wasn't as bad as he thought, though his expectations were pretty low. Coop says he'll like his next book; it's about an affair. He points out that he actually gets along with everyone in Alan's family other than him.

As Bill and Lizzie make out in her room, she suddenly spots the scar on his chest. She runs into the bathroom and almost collapses. Looking in the mirror, she repeats, "It's Bill." After awhile, she comes out and explains that she cut the kidnapper's chest. "Like this," he says, flashing the scar. She touches it. They stare into each other's eyes. She's still sure he's being set up and tells him that she hasn't lost faith in him. They hug and then go downstairs. He asks her who could have set him up. She says it wasn't Alan; he's the only person who has stuck by her. He asks her where Dinah vanished to.

Later, Mel shows up at the mansion. Lizzie has hired her as Bill's lawyer. She and Bill run through the evidence against him. She asks him for everything he knows. He admits that Lizzie slashed the kidnapper and left a mark. Standing up, he shows her the scar on his chest. She gulps. He suggests it could have happened in the car accident. She tells him never to let anyone see the scar again.

Cyrus runs into Lizzie at the mini mart. He congratulates her on Bill waking up. She says it just means he can get arrested. It feels like everyone is against them. She looks for something to make scars go away. He hands her some oil and suggests she call a plastic surgeon. Lizzie wants to hire him to find out the truth about her kidnapping. He agrees to help. She hugs him.

Natalia goes to her room to write a letter to Rafe. As she begins to cry, Buzz comes to the door. She won't answer. He goes downstairs and looks out the window, spotting Coop kissing Beth. Buzz rolls his eyes.

Mel and Bill go to the station. Frank asks if he can have a word with Bill. Bill has nothing to say other than that he loves Lizzie. Frank says he's going to have to take him down to processing. After Bill is processed, Lizzie arrives, disturbed that he turned himself in. She wants to get out of town so they can be alone.

Cyrus goes to see Alan and informs him that Lizzie just hired him to investigate the kidnapping. He tells Alan that he's going to have to pay him.

Here I go again, what the heck is with Coop and Beth? They come on and I go out. Phillip better come back soon or we are going to have to see C&B together. My stomach can't take that.
Both Bill and Lizzie have got to be the dumbest individuals on the show. How can they not see the eyes of Grady and the accent? Please give us a break.
Today was another hum hum hum day. Two Wednesdays this week.
I don't think I will watch tomorrow, I will just read. I can not stand Marina and Mallet together.
    Have a great night everyone.

I will be so glad when this whole kidnapping faming Bill thing is over with. I am seriously thinking about not watching GL until this mess its over. They are making Lizzie like so bad with her going to Cyrus for help, and her not believing Alan is involved. It just pisses me off everytime i watch it! Beth, she need to go away for a while her storyline is whack. I am also getting sick of Natalia. Frank had no right to go off on Olivia. Natalia was the fool who gamble on her money away! Getting way too crazy i tell ya.

Please! If Grady cut Bill while he was in the hospital? Umm..don't you think that nurses would notice him bleeding and that it wasn't there when he was admitted? But then we are talking Springfield. When it comes to Dr.s & police they can't figure anything out! Why doesn't anyone call Dinah & let her know Bill is okay & that he is being accused of the kidnapping? duh! This show is so stupid and for sure won't be worth watching tomorrow!

    Hello everyone,
Hope all had a good Thanksgiving. Anyway, on to today's show:
First of all, Coop and beth, sick!
I felt that Frank was a bit harsh with Olivia, even though Olivia isn't the brightest person on the plannet, but she has been helping Natalia.
I think that Natalia and Frank should go out. I know she says that she can't because of Rafe, but I think that will be good for her. She needs someone after losing Gus.
I'm not sure what to think about the whole Billy and Lizzie thing. If this goes to trial, it's just going to drag on forever and ever!
That's all for now Maybe more tomorrow!

I really don't get Cyrus. One minute he is trying to be a good guy, then the next thing you know he is making deals with the devil(a.k.a. Alan)If they don't hurry up and put an end to this whole kidnapping thing I might really lose it. Someone really should of told Dinah by now about her brother. Instead of wasting precious time and sl and dedicating entire days to M&M, maybe we could hurry up and put this whole kidnapping business to rest. And why was
Bill looking at hisself in the mirror like he could possibly believe that he could of done something he KNOWS he didn't do. I am about to get mad with him and Lizzie both. How in the world can two very intelligent people who are suppose to be capable of running a billion dollar business be so stupid that they can't think hard enough to know that Grady is behind this!?
As for Frank and Natalia, yes they may both deserve each other, but do they really have that spark. Cause honestly I don't see that chemistry between them. Maybe if they actually go out on a date and she relaxes for 5 minutes, I'll feel different. I really feel bad for Nat. She took a gamble and lost big time. I really thought that she was about to get it together. Hopefully something will happen soon... for the entire town of Springfield!!!

What I don't understand is what happened to all Gus's money. He was a Spaulding and had some stock in Spaulding so rightfully that should have gone to his son so I don't understand why they are the only broke Spauldings in town. Even when Alan took a fall Lizzie still had her trust fund where is Rafe's trust fund. Nat is too pround if she would get rid of some that stupid I don't need anyone I will just work 5 minimum wage jobs. Why didn't see move back in the mansion with the rest of the Spauldings. What she should do is demand her son's piece of the Spaulding pie. Now back to the kidnapping I am so over it. When did Grady have time to cut Bill when Lizzie was there around the clock with him. Okay Bill may have the cut but you mean to tell me that Lizzie still can't tell the difference from Bill's build and Grady's build.

I was thinking the same as what coco wrote. How could Grady possibly have cut Bill in the hospital without the nurses noticing. This show is getting stupider every day.
As for Natalia - can't they let her be happy and have something anything come her way. It seems that she has one crisis after another.

Posted by gossipqueen75 at Thursday, December 04 2008 07:58 AM

WOW can Bill and Lizzie be anymore stupid??? 3Puppies is right about Grady and how they couldn't pick up his accent and the eyes. But what about when he was limping? She couldn't hear that? What about him mysteriously seeing Bill when he was unconscious? Lizzie knows Grady is evil and has no good will for anyone, so why see Bill??? How can she not see through Alan?? I wonder who's side Cyrus is really going to be on? Somedays he seems like he is doing the right thing, then he doesn't the next. Unfortunately I am sure he will choose to protect Grady!

I am so glad to see that Frank asked Natalia out. I think they would be perfect together. They are both so nice, they deserve to be happy. Don't get me wrong I love Natalia, but she is a little bit of a martyr in a way. She is punishing herself for what she can't control and for others mistakes. She needs to live a little bit and learn it is ok to be happy even though Rafe is in prison.

Tomorrows show looks like it is all about Marina, that is sad and I am glad I will be at work, I can just read it.

    Hi! 3Puppies, Julien

Frank and Natalia would make a great couple. Neither one has to be the flashiest, richest or in the spotlight person.

Is Olivia on Natalia's side or not? I can't tell.

I wish Mallett and Dinah would have worked out.

And a big ewwww to Coop and Beth
