Guiding Light - DAILY UPDATES

Natalia shows up at Cedars with flowers for Olivia. Olivia wants out; she informs Natalia that she needs to do a webcast for Decker today and he can't find out that she is sick. Natalia doesn't think that leaving is a good idea and urges her to listen to her doctor. Olivia doesn't have much faith in doctors. They bicker about the clothes Natalia is supposed to bring for her.

Remy arrives at Company to take Clarissa and Maureen out to learn about fire safety. He presents Buzz with a brand new smoke alarm and then takes the children off. They go over to see Daisy and check out the house. The girls go to the basement to refill the batteries while Remy and Daisy catch up on Rafe.

At the prison, Rafe calls his mother and tries to convince her not to come and see him (he's been beaten and it shows). He tells her to stay at work. He misses her, but he doesn't want her to mess things up with Olivia. After he hangs up, Natalia turns around and sees Daisy. She asks her to take Rafe's appeal papers to him. Daisy would be happy to do anything to help.

Natalia runs into Remy and the girls in the hallway of The Beacon. She has to run off to a meeting but she asks them to drop off some fire safety kits at the front desk. Afterwards, they go and visit Ashlee at the TV station. They do a fire drill and then return to Company to catch up with Frank and Buzz. The girls run behind the counter for ice cream. Remy admits to Buzz that they exhausted him but reminded him of how much he wants to be a father.

Dinah and Grady get out of the van. She suggests they wipe it clean and then sink it. He's worried that she was talking to Lizzie. She tells him that this was all a big mistake and suggests that he find an alibi. "I don't need this anymore," she says, walking away.

In the garage, the bound Lizzie shouts at the phone to Bill. He tells her to stay on the line until he can track her down. He keeps her talking while he walks to the police station. She doesn't know how many people have been involved in this and describes the van she was in and where she is now. She heard him on the radio. "I can't wait until we're driving each other crazy again," she says. He promises that she'll soon be sick of him. Grady hobbles back in and stomps on the phone.

Dinah meets her mother and Billy at Towers. She thinks they need to put their heads together to figure out how to keep Bill from hurting himself. She tells them about Bill being taken down to the station. Billy runs off to find his son. Vanessa tells her daughter that she is proud of her. Frank suddenly calls with news. Dinah gets uncomfortable. Vanessa tells her that, no matter what happens, she can take comfort in the fact that she did her part.

At the station, Frank helps Bill try to track down the call. Bill begins to rant at him. Frank backs him off and tells him that if he had been more forthcoming in the first place, they'd be way ahead of things by now. Bill storms off and wanders around a construction site drinking. He sits in a heap of dirt beside the van. His father finds him. Bill explains that he spoke to Lizzie but lost her... again. His father rants at him for running off and getting drunk when Lizzie needs him. He tells him to stop being spoiled and go out and find Lizzie. Bill throws his bottle over the heap. They hear it smash into something. Circling around the heap, he discovers the van. He searches inside before finding oily footprints leading away from the vehicle.

Frank goes over to the mansion to search for more clues. He tells Dinah that Lizzie's call wasn't dropped, it was 'ended' so it looks like it could be too late.

At the garage, Lizzie begs Grady to let her see his face so she won't have to spend the rest of her life wondering if every man she sees is him. "That's not how it was supposed to be," he says. She doesn't think he knows how it was supposed to be. "This is how it has to end," he says, taking out a chainsaw.

Bill makes his way to the garage. Grady walks out. Bill attacks him and beats him into the ground. He walks inside, shouting for Lizzie. When he searches, she's nowhere to be found. Suddenly, she climbs out of hiding and runs into his arms.

Daisy goes to see Rafe in the prison. He asks her not to tell his mother about his injuries. She gives him the appeal papers to sign. He asks her if she and Grady are still broken up. She could never go back to him after what he did. Rafe tells her that he doesn't want her coming to see him. The visit ends and he files off to his cell. She slumps in the chair before ranting at the guard for letting Rafe be beaten. As she walks out, she tries calling Grady, telling herself that it's 'just for Rafe'.

Olivia listens to Natalia calling Daisy to check in on what happened with Rafe. Olivia's angry to find out that she missed a visitor's day. Natalia says she chose to be with her instead. Olivia thinks that was a stupid choice. Natalia admits that Rafe actually didn't want to see her today and tells her boss that she was amazing today. "I could have done this without you but it was better because you were her," Olivia says. Nat thanks her.
