Tammy and Jonathan reunite. Alan begins moving ahead with his plan. Rick worries about his future. Reva spends the evening with Cal and discovers some disturbing information.
Tammy has discovered Jonathan on the porch. He tells her that they can't be there together; this is unfair. She tells him that the only thing that he has with Lizzie is 'a baby and some space.' He begs her to stop torturing him and leave him alone before they begin kissing and make their way to the barn. After they make love, he tells her that it's the first time in months that he's felt like he could breathe. Together, it feels like the whole world has disappeared. Tammy wishes that they could stay like this forever, but Jonathan is lost in thoughts of Sarah. He's worried what will happen to her when she has a dad like him. Being with Tammy is going to ruin everything. Tammy tells him that she loves him now more than ever and that he doesn't have to change or become someone he's not.
Lillian is babysitting Sarah when Alan comes to the door. 'O lord!' she exclaims upon seeing him. 'No, it's only me,' Alan says as he pushes his way in. He asks to hold the baby, but Lillian is worried that he'd run away with her. After making some gleeful faces at the baby, they begin arguing about Jonathan and Lizzie's 'sham' marriage. He goes too far when he tells Lillian that she's good at pretending, that's what she's always done with her own family. She says that she'll pretend he didn't say that and pushes him out the door before he has time to deliver his gifts.
Meanwhile, Lizzie has been wandering around Josh and Cassie's party wondering where her husband has disappeared to. Marina suggests that Jonathan is with RJ and she should give him some space, but, defensively, Lizzie says that she doesn't need to check up on him like a 'hovering wife.' Lizzie begins helping Cassie clean up and, seeing as they are in the 'same boat,' asks her how she got Josh to stop obsessing over his past. Cassie reminds her that she is Tammy's mother and tries to reassure her that she has nothing to fear from her daughter. Soon, anxiety gets the better of Lizzie and she walks outside to look for Jonathan while Cassie casts a worried glance around the room.
Outside, Lizzie approaches the barn when Alan finds her. Tammy and Jonathan can hear them arguing and get dressed before he runs out the back. Alan follows Lizzie back to Cassie's house so that he can talk about Sarah. Josh and Cassie intervene and tell Alan to leave. He tells Lizzie that raising a child in an unstable home isn't a good thing, but she's not alone. Jonathan returns and puts his arm around Lizzie while telling Alan that he's right, she isn't alone; he's with her. Lizzie asks Alan to leave again so that they can 'have a life' and he finally does. Tammy appears in the doorway of the house and Cassie asks her where she came from before shooting a suspicious look at Jonathan. Lizzie calls Lillian to say they are returning while Tammy tells Jonathan that what just happened was amazing and he tells her that they waited 'too long.' Lizzie interrupts to take him home. Before leaving, she says that it's nice that the three of them can be together without things being 'weird'. When they walk away, Tammy stands there with a fixated glare. Meanwhile, Alan has returned to the barn and goes inside to find the remnants of Jonathan and Tammy's reunion.
Rick and Frank wander around the house seeming lost as Rick pockets cookies and chocolates. They say their goodbye and go back to Harley and Gus'. They're surprised the party turned out so well. Frank just thanks God that Marina isn't involved with Jonathan. Rick asks Frank if his shoes are 'sexy'. He's worried that if he doesn't get back with Mel, he'll have to start dating again. Frank offers to send Marina over to give him a makeover and asks him if he'll go back with Beth. Rick explains that they were just trying to relive their youth. They feel old now and think about all the people they miss on the holidays and how hard things were for them. Rick wishes his grandmother was still around.
Cassie and Josh are happy to see that their party has gone better than expected. They toast to 'new beginnings' with Billy and Sheila. Billy is feeling like his old charming self again. Josh jokingly tells Sheila that Billy's charm always gets him into trouble. She says that all he ever talks about is work and how excited he is to be back at it again. As she goes off to get another drink, Josh remarks on how nice it is now that 'things are less crazy.' Billy nods, 'For all of us.' As he and Sheila prepare to leaves, they tell Josh and Cassie that they'll have to come dancing with them. Left alone, Josh and Cassie are amazed that people have gotten used to them being together so quickly. He puts on some music and they begin to dance.
In Cal's room, Reva begins telling him more about her 'weird' tangling with the Lewis brothers. He tells her that it's about time that she got untangled from them and got tangled up with someone else. He invites her to start 'their own holiday party' with him and they begin making out on the bed. She tries to slow him down by telling him that she's not ready yet and seems to have lost her party girl edge. When that doesn't work, she tells him that she seems to marry all the men she sleeps with. He backs away, taking the hint and remarks on how baffled he feels knowing that he still has a lifetime ahead of him. They watch pay-per-view and eat candy while he tries to tell her that there is life after the Lewis brothers. She knows, but watching them now, she feels almost like she did die. Cal changes tone and asks if Billy is really interested in Sheila. Reva starts to worry. Cal's heard stories about her; she might make real trouble for him. She's the sort of woman who only dates wealthy men. Reva's reluctant to believe him, besides, she really can't say anything to Billy; he wouldn't appreciate it coming from her. She thanks him and they kiss goodnight. In the hallway, she runs into Billy and Sheila. They exchange awkward pleasantries before Sheila goes ahead to the room and Reva holds Billy back. She tries asking him about Sheila, but he only tells her that she did a good thing pushing them together and beyond that, it's none of her business. He heads off to bed. She calls Josh and leaves a message asking him for help talking to Billy but breaks off at the end to say 'nevermindů I'll handle it myself.'
Next on GL:Beth tries to stop Alan from going ahead with his plan after he finds proof. Lizzie pressures Jonathan not to let their night end early.
